History

Established in 1971.

New Lenox Machine Co., Inc. in Dwight, IL, manufactures specialty projectiles for US Army and testing laboratories. Established in 1971, we develop and manufacture the NLMC Powder Breech System used in ballistic testing laboratories, ranging from 5.56mm to 90 mm and manufacture a 30 mm system capable of launching 20 mm FSP’s at over 5000 FPS. We also manufacture heavy-​duty universal receiver systems that are capable of firing .22 cal to 14.5mm rounds. Rifled gun barrels and smooth bore gun barrels are available in various sizes, calibers, chambers, and twist rates that are for sale to both the general public and private test labs.
