For more than twenty years Calypso Hurricane has specialized in perrforming our unique blend of swing, rock and roll, R&B and island music at important events like weddings, corporate parties and birthdays throughout New England.

History

Established in 1985.

Since Calypso Hurricane’s inception, we continue to evolve musically as individuals as well as collectively within the band and we all look forward to playing together regularly at the best parties. When we started out, no one was married but now we are all married and God parents of each other’s children. We have recorded three original albums and have a fourth one on the way but we especially love playing parties where we mix up the music styles and get everyone dancing. Every party we are hired to play is unique and we make it our job to find out what we can do to help the party be especially memorable.

I have a Bachelors of Music in classical guitar and have continued my musical education studying jazz. I started Calypso Hurricane in 1985 and together with my band mates we have found a wonderful chemistry that continues to evolve.
