Description

Specialties

Triangle Land Conservancy is a nonprofit organization that protects important open space-stream corridors, forests, wildlife habitat, farmland and natural areas-in Chatham, Durham, Johnston, Lee, Orange and Wake counties to help keep our region a healthy and vibrant place to live and work.

History

Established in 1983.

Triangle Land Conservancy was created by a group of passionate, energetic people who loved living and working in the Triangle. They wanted to ensure that the clean water and air, local food, beautiful farms and forests, and places to connect with nature remained part of our community even when the Triangle’s population grew.
