Taekwondo 2XCELL is a premier North Carolina organization dedicated to the martial arts discipline of Taekwondo. Our program is a culturally diverse, value-​priced taekwondo school, serving its customers in the NC community by providing several programs for a variety of purposes, ranging from basic-​advance taekwondo, to self defense, to self esteem and life skills building, and more. The focus of our taekwondo program is to provide students the highest quality taekwondo instruction available, in a safe and positive learning environment that people of all ages can enjoy. Taekwondo 2XCELL realizes that each student possesses different physical abilities. Size and strength vary with each individual. We specialize in working with children with special needs, such as ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder), ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), ODD (Oppositional Defiant Disorder) and Asperger’s Spectrum Disorder.

History

Established in 2007.

Taekwondo 2 XCell was started in August of 2007. The former name was Infuzion Taekwondo. We have have been at our present location for 5 years.

Meet the Manager

Master G.

Manager

Master Gordon has studied and is certified in various styles of martial arts. She currently holds a 4th Dan in Jidokwon Taekwondo, 3rd Dan in Shorin Ryu Karate, 1st Dan in Judo, 1st Dan in Kendo and a 1st degree in White Crane Kung-​Fu. She is a Kukkiwon certified black belt, USA Olympic Level 1 Coach and member of the World Taekwondo Federation in Seoul, South Korea and United States Taekwondo in Colorado Springs, CO. Master Gordon, who began her martial arts career in 1971, has trained and traveled extensively throughout South Korea, and Beijing, China as a member of Grandmaster Kang Seok Lee’s USA/​Korea Demonstration Team. Ms. Gordon has received the USA Weekend Magazine’s «Most Caring Coach Award» and the Herald-​Sun Newspaper’s «Most Caring Coach Award» for her work with children. Her other accolades include numerous, state, regional and international awards.
