Great place. A little dirty sometimes but it looks like they run skeleton crews anyway. Place gets jumping after club hours. That new 88 gas is the truth 20 bucks plus the sheets discount can fill up my tank. Personally I like them better than wawa up north but they need a free ATM and the place would be perfect

I had never visited this Sheetz before and I was in the area so I decided to stop in for a bite to eat. The first thing I noticed was the store was very busy. The line seemed to be moving rather quickly so that was good to see. I ordered my usual grilled chicken sandwich and headed up to the checkout. Checkout was rather smooth, but I noticed while I was waiting for my food at the counter that the cashier started having a personal conversation with a lady and was holding up the line. I’m not sure how these cashiers are trained but I wouldn’t have been too pleased if I were standing in line waiting while one of the two cashiers was having a nice chit-chat and holding me up. I got my chicken sandwich in a decent amount of time. One thing I did notice while waiting was that the food prep area was rather dirty. I got back to the office and took a bite out of the sandwich. I tasted mostly bread so I took another bite. The first thing I noticed was how tough the chicken patty was; it was about as tough as a piece of steak. It was also very small and barely covered the bun. I have never gotten a chicken sandwich this poor from a Sheetz before. Given the crappy food, how dirty it looked and disregard for service, I don’t think I will be revisiting this Sheetz for food any time soon.

Always have great people working on the late shift when I come in and the food has always been good. Would have been 5 stars but sometimes they don’t have enough staff and the wait is really long.

I came to sheetz for one thing. Cheerwine. And they had it. Yay. I’ve had food here and it’s ok. I find the burgers overpriced. For 4 – 5 $ I can go to cookout. The fries are good. I don’t care for their«special sauce». It’s a weird blend of sweet and spicy. Never got gas here. Just snacks. Sometimes they have weird Icee flavors. Like. I just want cherry. Why am I subject to Carmel Apple and lemon blast ? Come here for soda. Get a sheetz card and it’s 99 cents for any size.

Getting gas here is a chore during peak hours as well as trying to leave the lot. I’ve only gone inside once to get a bottle of water and it took forever to get through the line. I only buy gas from here as an emergency so I can get out of RTP. The only good thing is that their gas prices are always a few cents cheaper than further down Miami Blvd/Chapel Hill Rd area. I would probably never buy food from the grill from this location since it seems to be as equally slow. Cashiers are not that friendly either.

I have no idea what is going on with the Sheetz associates today, maybe they’re having bad days. But it should not have taken fifteen minutes for me to get 6 chicken wings. At least they were polite and apologized. But the restrooms were unacceptable.

Sheetz is not a gas station. It’s a restaurant that also sells gas. Ha! I visit this particular Sheetz quite often. I really enjoy their food. Ordering from a video screen is convenient in its own way. The employees are satisfactory, nothing special, however they always seem under staffed. My most recent visit, I ordered a sausage croissant and a frozen mocha and waited 12 minutes. The food is good but typically the longer the wait, the more burnt and sloppy the food. Still delicious tho.

Love Sheets, mostly because of the gas prices and of course the 0.03 off…

Cheapest local gas and ALWAYS busy! Parking lot is usually a bit crazy — so please don’t speed. Free Air Tire Inflator here with CUSTOMIZABLE tire pressure — awesome! I’ve always wondered why there was a line for this tire inflator… Would be nice if there was more than one, since it’s always hoppin’. Frequently, there are small«traffic jams» of cars waiting in line for it. It’s hard to pull out of if you’re turning left onto South Miami Boulevard towards TW Alexander(from the small side-street) — lots o’ traffic. I sadly haven’t sampled the food in this location yet, but that will change soon — I promise.

I love Sheetz! One stop shop for everything! My fav thing about this place is the touch screens where you can create you own meals or blended drinks and order them all electronically. I used to come here alot, as I lived off Lumley Rd., where my twin sister still lives. But I am back in Southern California and NONE of the gas stations are this cool.

when traveling I end up frequenting a lot of gas station convenience store places. Some good, some not so good. Sheetz — this place is awesome. I’ve never seen EVERY kind of drink machine, type of junk food, candy, beer soda, nicknack’s, energy drinks in one single location. Oh and they have fresh donuts and hot food that you order via a touch screen and some person 3 feet away makes for you and hands it to you a few minutes later. Clean place, staff friendly enough, multiple check out lines(this place is big!) I don’t give out 5’s often, and I don’t review quickie marts(this is a first) either but this place rocks.

My favorite place to go get coffee in the morning. only a buck for an extra large coffee and they also serve all sorts of hot foods and also have an espresso bar. I also love their doughnuts and it is almost as good as krispy kreme. They have a good wide range of coffee and sodas and other beverages and they have everything you can ask for in a gas station/convienance store. I work for a major corporation and their coffee is twice as expensive than what sheetz has to offer. very good prices.

Yes, the gas prices are good. I guess it is good for a gas station but not good enough for five stars! The minute they make a gas station that sells yummy healthy/local foods not just loads of junk food I will be on it. Until then…

Gas, shmash… except when you’re talking about Sheetz. I’d heard of Sheetz, but had never visited one. They have the best gas prices I’ve seen in the area, so I’ve made a habit of stopping at this location every Sunday on the way between Raleigh and Durham. Inside is rather elaborate as gas stations go – they have a made-to-order food area! In a gas station! Otherwise, you’ve got your usual drinks/snacks/basics to choose from. This location also has a car wash. I haven’t signed up for their free reward card program yet, but am thinking I should…

Having lived up north where Sheetz is a staple(PA, MD, WV, VA), I was totally stoked to see these starting to pop up locally. My only pet peeve — they don’t know how to do sweet tea. The MTO Italian sub, great thing to munch on while you drudge up I-85 to DC and points north. I’ve never visited one that had a nasty/dirty bathroom either.

Why would I give a gas station/convenience store 5 stars? Well, for starters they have some of the cheapest gas in the area. On top of that, I signed up for their free reward card and they gave me a free soda(full disclosure)! How cool is that? As a member, you get points for every dollar you spend filling up which translates into«free» coffee and other Sheetz paraphernalia. You can also get stuff like fountain drinks at «member» prices — save up to 50 cents on the largest size they offer. How about other stuff? Well, I’ve tried their coffee on road trips(not bad — def. on par or better than the dunkin’ donuts variety) throughout VA and NC. This location has everything similar to the ones I’ve frequented in the past all conveniently located in one place. –Cups of hard sugar glazed donut holes? check. –Gum, dental floss and tire pressure gauges? check, check and check. –Sandwiches made to order for the quickie lunch? check. –Aisles of chips and snacks? check. –A wall of coffee dispensers and soft drinks? check and check. –Gas and a car wash? double check. –Kerosene pump? Whoa… really? yes, check. It’s official, if the world ends tomorrow in an apocalyptic neutron bomb detonation and you happen to be the lone surviving human on this side of RTP, go to Sheetz for all your supplies. Your biggest hurdle will be fighting off the radioactively enhanced 6 foot roaches that will now infest this new world order. Just be sure to use your new found MacGyver skills to fashion a bayonet out of 2 liter coke bottles, duct tape, hoagie rolls and flexi-straws!
