J.Blount Window Tint

Used J. Blount’s services to remove window tint and he left too much glue on the rear window. He also charged more than expected because he only worked an hour, but charged his 90 minute rate. Too bad, for him. Instead of getting more referrals and taking 15 minutes to clean all of the glue, he chose to do what I’d consider just average at best for someone in this line of work.

Purchased a Living Social Deal. Contacted merchant multiple times to schedule. Never heard back from them.

Bought the groupon deal. Couldn’t get in touch with this merchant at all. Had to complain to groupon to get a refund.

He is offering a Groupon that is a scam. It’s listed as: $ 150 for $ 334 Groupon — J. Blount WIndow Tint LLC — But that isn’t true. He is charging you the full-​price and stated that he was «Only using Groupon as a way to advertise.» I have reported him to BBB and to Groupon for Business Scam.

follow up to my previous 1 star review. its been 8 weeks since I had my tint done and the poor quality of work and bubbles still exist. I have made over 5 attempts to contact John to resolve the issue. But, he did not once reply back. I guess I should of went through Leigh Honda to get a better treatment instead of going to him directly. Enough said…

Alison at Leith Honda recommended Jon to tint the windows on my 2016 Honda HR-​V, I called him a few weeks after I got the car and he answered right away. He gave me a quick overview of prices and different levels of tints and we scheduled an appointment for the following week. When I arrived he greeted me in the foyer and showed me a variety of different leveled tints and colors. I explained each of them for me and I decided on the SunTrek Carbon middle of the line tint. it was affordable since I am on a budget and offered a lifetime warranty on the tint. He was very prompt in applying the tint (2 hours!) and gave me all the information I needed to know for after application care. I met a few of his other employees and they were all professional and polite, the shop is clean and offers Netflix for customers who are waiting. I would definitely recommend him to friends and will come back to him in future with other cars.
After I left, I realized I needed my receipt so I sent him a text message and he responded right away and stated he’d email me an invoice ASAP.

I had my windows tinted and Jon was amazing and did a great job. He’s a total professional and a nice guy. Highly recommend!

I found out about this shop on an online deal site and decided to get my new car tinted. Jon answered the phone and I was able to book an appointment right away. Jon recommended Suntek Carbon XP film and he did a great job on the installation and clean-​up. I can’t see any sign he worked on the car. Although his shop location wasn’t so convenient for me I would use Jon again (and might get my other car tinted).

Had my 2009 Chevy Avalanche done this past weekend. Great quality of work and a nice clean professional shop. Jon did a great job and accommodated me by taking me during off hours which was greatly appreciated due to the fact I work out of town during the week. Have always had my cars tinted being I came from Florida and his work is on the level with my preferred shop in Destin, FL. I highly recommend both his work and getting the Suntek CarbonXP film (such a huge difference in the heat blocking). Will likely be coming back with my other car as well.

I bought a deal on living social. I called about 10 times and left 2 messages, no one ever answered the phone or called back. Good thing I could return the living social deal. Very sketchy…
