History

Established in 1978.

Antonio Schiano Di Scioarro came to the USA in 1968 and he opened several restaurants. In 1978, he opened the first Italian Pizzeria in Durham NC. After a few years he opened a few more Italian Pizzerias. Through the years he sold all restaurants to family members. IN 2015 after more than 30 years he decided to open the last one here in the Festival shopping center in Durham with his son Franco Schiano Di Scioarro and his son in law Adriano De Maio and we decided to continue with his old style recipes. We know that is a lot more work, but the food’s quality is always the best and the same taste of 30 years ago, and to reach the old style we can ONLY use top notch ingredients and the best steak in the market.
