Similar to the other reviews on this page, I agree that H & S Cleaners was pretty basic and ordinary in terms of service. Dropped off a couple coats for dry cleaning, the woman in charge was helpful, but again pretty basic. I went mainly for convenience because they were close to my home. The coats were decently cleaned, though not all the stains were removed — a note was left that some of the damage couldn’t be undone. I may go again but, if be willing to check out another service with high quality, and warmer customer service.

A little pricey for only so-so quality. Just moved to the area and tried this cleaner out because it’s right across the street. A suit was $ 8…not bad. But my dress shirt was $ 4, and while it was laundered and pressed, it had grey and black lint all over it. I didn’t notice it at first, because the lint was fine enough that it was only visible when it collected in seams and folds. If I were to guess I’d say the shirt was laid against the suit while the shirt was still damp. I took it back and they said, «it came in like that.» When I responded that since they are cleaners it sort of makes sense that a shirt might come in dirty, but it’s still expected to leave #%^%#$ clean, all I got was a blank stare.

Unilocalers beware! I’ve dropped stuff off here a few times because its the closest place to my house, despite the high prices. I’ve had average results, comparable to my discount place on 751. Recently however… dunh dunh dunh… I dropped off an evening dress to be drycleaned. When I went to hang it up in my closet, and I noticed the halter was destroyed. The hooks were intact but the other side, where the eyes were supposed to be definitely was not. All of the eyes were gone and the chiffon was torn apart. so that the halter is fraying apart. I brought it back to the manager this morning and he stared at it for about a minute, thought long and hard, and then said. I cleaned this dress, and it was like this. I was floored, and it really comes down to he said she said, but it was not like that when I dropped it off. I quietly said, it was not like this when I dropped it off, and this is new. He asked me how I knew–«do you check all of your clothes before you drop them off?» Fair enough– I may not check all of my dress shirts for missing buttons before I drop them off, but if my halter was in the state it was in– I would have been showing ta-tas the last time I wore the dress. No offer to fix the dress, or to even refund my drycleaning. In fact, when I took a deep breath and realized it wasn’t worth discussing this with someone who wasn’t going to acknowledge his company’s fault, he walked away. I said, can you at least put the dress on the hanger and put it in the plastic(which is the way I brought it into the store) and he said«I don’t care, you do it.» I was appalled at their customer service. Ps. for the dress and one of my husbands ties– I paid $ 14.75 Stick to Cleaner World for your nice things(dresses), and the discount place on 751 for your dress shirts and slacks.

Brought a few garments over here the other day. As far as dry cleaners go, I’d rate them as decent, but not miracle workers. Case in point: the mystery black spots on the back of my skirt are diminished, but not completely gone. Prices were a little steep, especially considering all the discount options in the area — I paid over $ 8 for two items. Looks like they do alterations here as well.
