History
Established in 2013.
Hi we’re Lexi & Kim, Owners/Operators of Greedy’Z Cheesesteaks & Hoagies Food Truck in Durham, NC! We have resided in Durham for almost 12 years since leaving our hometown, The City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia. Since residing in NC, we have truly missed our families, friends and FOOD! Kim and I have had long talks about how we could bring the Philly taste to Durham for years and finally our time has come to get our business on the road.
Our dream of owning a food truck is here! In December 2013, we took a Leap of Faith and said let’s do it! Let’s start our food truck business! This had been a dream/adventure discussed for over 3 years. We purchased our truck in November 2014 but now have to make many updates to the truck to get it to code, get our marketing visuals ready, obtain permits, etc. so that we can start serving our delicious Greedy’Z sandwiches to our community.
We truly desire to be a part of the food truck craze, and know that we will be successful!

We hail from Philadelphia but have made our home in Durham, NC since attending college at NCCU.
Kim and I both have Business degrees in Marketing and Management from NCCU. In addition, Lexi has a degree in Culinary Arts (Certified Chef) which has allowed us to better prepare for this venture. We are super excited to get going and live out our dreams!
We want to show our sons that working hard and persevering, all dreams are possible! We are their ROLE MODELS and we must LEAD them on a path to a dream fulfilled!
Please help Kim and I make this dream come to life! Help us to show our beautiful sons, Jackson — 5years old (Lexi’s only child), Kamile and AJ (9 years old/2 years old respectively) that dreams do come true! Come visit our truck!
