We opened in our current location in downtown Durham at Durham Arts Place.

Meet the Business Owner

Carol T.

Business Owner

Carol Thomson launched FireStream Media in 2006 to further her passion for multimedia work. Carol has over 25 years of programming and multimedia experience. Her previous employers include Isotechnologies, Duke University Medical Center, BroadBand Technologies, Topsail Technologies, and Brisbane City Council.

Along with working at FireStream Media, Carol teaches documentary video production at the Duke Center for Documentary Studies and the Community Folklife Documentation Institute for the N.C. Arts Council.

Carol Thomson and her team at FireStream Media are the absolute best. The web products they develop are outstanding, but more importantly, their service and attention to their customers is amazing. I’ve worked with FireStream on two major projects (100k+ budgets) and they have surpassed all of my (very high) expectations. Awesome.
