History

Established in 1995.

Durham Bookcases started building unfinished furniture. Our goal was to build bookcases and other wood furniture at competitive prices with high quality workmanship. As time has passed, we have increased the variety of woods, sizes, & options and continue to please our customers.

Today, Durham Bookcases builds over 450 standard-​sized unfinished bookcases. We offer custom finishing, beautiful crown moldings, solid wood doors and stylized drawers, plus more… all in a variety of sizes. In addition to standard built pieces we custom build to fit your client’s space and lifestyle. Custom sizes & designs are not a problem.
