This Chilis was filthy. It smelled like a sewer broke inside. The host slapped a couple of menus on the table, flipped a greasy touch screen around and walked off. He didn’t say two words to us. After waiting ten minutes without anyone coming to the table. The health department grade for this place is 93.4– the lowest I’ve seen in Durham.

Worst chilis ever!!! Waited about ten minutes to get seated because the hostess said she didn’t have any other booths available but clearly there were lots then when we got seated another ten minutes to even get a waiter! Ordered apps and food husband got beer and the beer didn’t arrive til probably another ten minutes after. Our food came but no appetizer yet! Ugh this chilis has the absolute worst service and management. We regret coming here! Don’t go!

Summary: Visited a chilis after 7+ years. There was a reason I had stayed away. Not visiting again if I can help it — this location in particular. Food: Average to sub-par. None of the ingredients seemed fresh tasting. Service: Just about ok. Place seemed busy. But service was slow and could have been more attentive. Help with the menu was minimal. Ambience and location: Physical address puts it in a great spot. Ambience was poor in comparison. Overall cleanliness: Very average. Toilet had broken soap dispenser. Insides of the building just looked a little too grungy. Health rating was 93.5 I believe.

My friend and I went here on a Saturday evening. Long story short my food came completely wrong and when it came correct it was cold! We ordered margaritas from the bar that took about 20 min and they were wrong also. We had to flag down the manager to correct them. Our server was nice but he seemed clueless.

Went to this location for lunch today. We walked in and waited … and waited … and waited. No hostess. People came in behind us and they waited. A good five to seven minutes passed before someone showed up at the front(this was around 2:00 in the afternoon) … no apology for not being anywhere to be found. Ordered the food. It was okay. The potato soup was watery with very large chunks of potatoes. Not hot. It was barely warm. Ordered coffee at the end of our meal. We had to send it back four times because it came out cold. I’ve been to a lot of Chili’s across the state. This had to have been the worst I’ve encountered so far. Don’t waste your money here.

: start rant: This Chili’s location is about as mediocre as it gets. The service is slow and generally meh. The food times and quality are about the same… I’ve yet to ever see or meet a manager. And for gods sake, can we get those stupid, clunky, space wasting electronic kiosk things off the table? Just run my card at the POS in the back like every other restaurant in America. :end rand:

I go to Chili’s almost 3 times a week. I love the food and so I’m ok with the wait(even though sometimes it takes too long). One thing that bothers me sometimes is the customer service. Some waitresses and waiters are very nice and work very hard but others… Let’t just say that they need to be re-trained or something. They are sometimes rude and they tend to forget about you. I usually ask if they are new but they are not. I like to leave big tips whenever I go because I can see how hard the people work there but I just wish I could choose my waitress/waiter sometimes. It’s good to come when you have nowhere to be afterwards, horrible to come during lunchbreak… You’ll be late if you try. Otherwise, the food is amazing!

Cheese fries are always on my mind, and every time I go here I’m dissatisfied. You’d think by now they’d teach the cooks to cook it last since it’s so quick to prepare. Management does not care and if you make a complaint everyone on the staff will walk by your table and give you dirty looks. And please don’t address it because management doesn’t care.

First time at this location. Wasn’t very crowded for a Friday night. Our food was good and typical Chili’s fare. Food was served hot and quickly. Would return next time in town.

Worst dining experience ever. My family was treating me to a birthday dinner. We arrived around 5pm. It took at least 20 minutes to get our drinks and order food. Our food didn’t arrive at our table until 6:15(no communication from anyone as to why this was taking so long). In the meantime, the tables beside us(with a different waitress) were getting replacement drinks, appetizers, and food all while we waited. We finally asked and the manager said ‘I have no excuse for it’. The food was average and definitely not worth the long wait. He did comp our meal but we will definitely not be coming back to this location ever again.

My worst Chili’s try ever. Let me start … I’m to the dessert with every single plate from then appetizers to now still on my table AND was same empty cup from arrival. The place is empty in the between time from lunch to dinner so I assume less staff, but how horrible the slow service. The food in the appetizer was … Under cooked and soaked in oil front the drier being too cold for cooking. The chips for the spinach & artichoke were way to thin only your break in any attempt to relive the dip. They have this touch screen to order and pay … I guess to help with the lack of staff or to just replace people interaction. A truly sad visit today.

I am sad you guys haven’t enjoyed your food here. I go at least a couple times a month and am a strong proponent of «if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.» The woman and I get the 2 for 20 and therefore always leave disgusted at how much awesome food we ate, but at the same time happily loaded down with leftovers… all for 20 bucks. I also don’t like to drink anything but water with my food, so that also saves on cash. All-in-all, it’s great food and decent service at a good enough price for what you get. The wait staff is hit and miss, and I don’t care at all. Waitresses: Make sure I have enough water, bring me food, and do it cheaply. If I want something, I’ll ask. Oh yeah, stand back while I shove it in my face. Do all these things as a waitress, we’ll get along just fine, and I’ll tip 25%. One thing though. I do really hate the little tablet-screen thingies they now have. I grabbed one to move it away from me and I accidentally charged myself 2 dollars for crappy games nobody would play. This was a terrible idea, Chilis. Some folks go out to be noticed and taken care of. If you make that part of the experience automated too, then what’s the point of going out? These stupid things suck, and you should feel bad for putting them on your tables. That being said, I go so I don’t have to cook and don’t care one way or another, but I am annoyed at how hard it was to get 2 dollars worth of games I never played taken off my tab. I’ll go back for the food, the price, and the fact that the waitresses leave me alone. If you want anything else out of your dinner, you should probably rethink the game plan for your evening.

Sat in the bar just for a couple of drink. Great bartender. Great drinks. But an employee who was on break was such a horrible disturbance it was hard to not notice. She brought in KFC and ate it at a booth in the bar. Kept getting up and walking around while eating her fried chicken. Disturbing employees who were working and customers. As a former bar owner, I can tell you, my employees were not allowed to bring in other food and cause a disturbance. This on break employee was rude and disgusting! Then the manager dropped by her table and stood and ate a piece of chicken. Really?!? Very poor professional skills!

My family and I have eaten at the 15⁄501 Chili’s but it was out first time at this Fayetteville location and it was a HORRIBLE! We ordered the chicken enchilada’s, a burger, and an appetizer platter(wings, egg rolls, and big bite burgers) We waited 45 minutes for our food and I am sorry to say that EVERYTHING was very bad. Greasy, salty, no good taste. The burger I ordered was wrong and when they came back I couldn’t even eat it. Server didn’t quite know what was going on and needed to be trained but kept apologizing for the delay. She asked at the end if we wanted a manager but our day was ruined already so we paid and left. SAFETOSAY, WEWILLNEVERCOMEAGAIN! #sorrynotsorry Management NEEDS to figure something out. Steer clear of here!

What is strange is that the location is optimal, but the quality of staff and food is sub-par for Chili’s in comparison to many other Chili’s that I have been to.

No clue what has happened w Chilis menu since the last time I are there(at least a year ago) but I distinctly remember their veggie burger being good so I recommended we go there since it was a place I thought would have a good veggie option for me. When I got the menu, there was literally nothing but side dishes that were veg or vegan. It made no sense, I don’t know where all their old veggie stuff went. But the reason they get four stars is I finally decided the Caribbean salad(no meat) would be the only thing filling enough for me, and they told me I would just be charged for a house salad(pretty cheap). And my salad was huge and delicious. So if you are vegetarian or dining with people that are, know that they might just have to get a salad but at least it’s going to be awesome and cheap. In other news, service was kind of slow but I honestly don’t think that unless you are reviewing a five star resto it makes one bit of difference what service is like bc it just depends on the random server you get that probably won’t be working there in three months anyways.

Friendly staff and food is consistently good for who they are. We usually get the chips and salsa and split the steak and chicken fajitas, which is plenty for two! They will bring extra tortillas and toppings for a nominal charge. Great to do if you’re trying to stick to a budget.

The service here was the best it has been in a long time, but as far as change goes, I can only give this place a three. Often the food comes out as though it’s been on a serving line for too long. Our ribs were no where near as meaty as they are at other locations(like, Tobacco Road). The steak tasted like meat tenderizer. The macaroni and cheese(with jalapenos) was great, but a little cold. The food wasn’t horrible, but I think where they excell in bar service, they really lack in making sure the food is hot and prepared in a tastey way!

I’m giving this location four stars because it needs it(based off my good experience of course). Normally I would not give a chain restaurant four stars because they are nothing local or special. but after reading the crap-ola reviews below, I thought I’d throw them a couple of bones because I had such a great experience tonight. Hostess greeted us — but def didn’t seem very enthusiastic. You should ALWAYS hire a hostess with charisma. Our waitress, blonde haired lady, was fantastic. She brought us fresh drinks before we got to the bottom of ours– and checked on us a few times. I got the cajun chicken pasta. It was very hot and tasty! The sauce was probably incredibly unhealthy — but jeeeeeesus it was rich and good. My husband always gets the quesadilla salad & his was good too. They updated the décor in there some too. Overall I’d say the Chili’s at Brier Creek looks better — but I think it’s also bigger. I think they’ve hired some better servers since we were last there — hope they stick around a lil while!
