Brewing in Durango, Colorado since 1995, Ska Brewing is the Four Corners’ region’s most award-​winning brewery! Located in Durango’s Bodo Industrial Park. Our Tasting Room always features 12 of our craft brews at any given time. Flagships, seasonals and unique beers that only a few ever get to try — they’re all on tap here for your tasting indulgence.

It’s a modern-​day tasting room experience with a casual food truck culture. Make yourself at home. Grab a seat anywhere you’d like, check out the upstairs, join the community, start a conversation, and make new friends! There’s beer at the bar and food at The Container of Food.

If you’re unfamiliar, we’re a manufacturing facility. We brew beer — a lot of beer. We put it in cans and bottles for sale around the globe.

If you want to learn more, we offer tours of our fantastical 100% wind-​powered brew fortress at 4pm Monday — Saturday. Oh, and there’s a beer garden featuring The Container of Food! (Open 11am-​8pm M-​F, 11am-​7pm Sat, noon-​6pm Sun).

History

Established in 1995.

Somewhere out in Colorado, in the year nineteen hundred and ninety-​five, three guys named Matt, Bill and Dave learned that while they loved gulping down good beer, they weren’t yet old enough to buy it. They figured an answer to their quandary would appear if they drank enough and listened to enough thinking music, also known as Ska. On the second Skaturday of Skatember it hit them. If they brewed their own beer they’d have all the beer they could ever want. And while they were at it, why not brew the most magnificent suds ever quaffed in their neck of the woods… or any other neck for that matter.

Elsewhere in the world, forces were conspiring to conglomerize and corporatize all of beerdom. Wheels were in motion to turn what was once an art mastered by those attracted to the science of handys, into a mechanized mire of swill so sullen it zombifies all who drink it. The black clouds of an evil empire were gathering, A battle was to ensue; Ska vs. Rotgutzen!

Business Owner

Bill Graham, Dave Thibodeau, and Matt Vincent were 3 carefree chaps who learned to brew beer long before they could legally drink it. That part’s a long story. In 1993, after Bill graduated from CU in Boulder, and Dave graduated from Metro in Denver, they moved to the best place in the world; Durango. It was here that their love of drinking and crafting fine beers, and listening and dancing to Ska music, brought the brewery to life in 1995. Matt Vincent, Superstar Brewer from Durango Brewing, joined forces with Bill and Dave and here they are, 20+ years later, still brewing beer, winning medals, having fun and battling Rotgutzen, all in the name of saving the universe from zombified swill.
