Established in 1994.

Owner Phyllis Burwell originally opened Oohs and Aahs in 1994 at 1001 Main Avenue. As the years went on, business flourished and Oohs and Aahs grew into one of Durango’s best home-​design stores, and continues to bring a fresh take on interior design from its new location at 920 Main Avenue.

My wife bought a couple of scarves and a picture frame here, and that was about all we were willing to buy due to the insane markup on most of their items.
The cashier was extremely friendly and chatty, and did a great job wrapping up our picture frame to keep it safe.
If you’ve got some cash to blow, you’ll enjoy this place. I didn’t, so I didn’t.

Durango seems to have a plethora of semi-​swank western themed furntiture and do-​dad stores, and this one seems to be the best, with orginall artitst ware mixed in with more pedestrian mass produced items.
A carefully walk thorugh this shop will take you a fun hour.
