Clean and bright atmosphere, friendly staff who know what they’re doing, service was fast. Espresso in my latte had great body correctly textured milk. Incredible cinnamon rolls.

Good selection of coffee & tea and is your average vibe coffee shop: tables for socializing in a not so cramped space. Playlist was solid when we were in there for about 2 hours(maybe it was the edibles?), and the pastries weren’t bad either. Id be back, especially to check out the Day-Olds section(yesterdays desserts for $ 1, count me in!)

The best beans, coffee and espresso in Durango. Are you someone who travels with an AeroPress? Do you like your coffee dark and strong? Is a quad not only how you power your vehicle, but also how your order your latte? Yes, yes, yes? Then you have found your coffee shop. Prepare to get cracked.

Mediocre at best… Not my type of place really and coffee is really dark roasted and bitter. My wife ordered a latte and no art even! While that doesn’t necessarily make a good latte it at least shows the barista cares. Wouldnt recommend this place.

As most Aussies would know, finding good coffee in the U.S. is about as hard to find as a virgin in a whorehouse. Well in Durango the search is over. This place not only roasts its own coffee they know how to make it as well. My half cup Americano was as close to perfection I have ever had in this country. It was ideal temperature and an excellent creama. The flavour was subtle with just a hint of bitterness to make an excellent start to the day. Looking forward to my next coffee from here

The coffee is fresh, hot and I like that they offer a different daily brew each day. But even if they didn’t have coffee at all, I’d go there just for their cinnamon rolls, the best in the 4 corners and reasonably priced.

Love the atmosphere and overall ambiance of the shop. The coffee is very true to its origins and they don’t mess around with the frilly extras. Their roasting lab is a great touch and really shows how much time and effort is put into a good cup of coffee. The windows bring in lots of natural light that make it warm and cozy. It’s also the perfect place to get work done and not get interrupted by the hustle and bustle of other coffee shops! Highly recommended for those coffee enthusiasts!

Frankly ALL of Durango was in need of a proper coffee house, as is Farmington. This is THE place for world class coffee. When you walk into the other places, you have no idea how long ago that coffee was roasted. The owner told me that they roast twice a week and that none of the roasted beans were roasted more than one week ago. And you can tell that just by tasting it. We had a couple of lattes and they were perfect. If you want a truly exceptional coffee, this is the place. Oh and the prices were very reasonable. An excellent value. We will be back. My ONLY suggestion is to actually date the bags with the roasted date. None of the competition would dare do that because they know that coffee roasted more than a week ago is just plain stale no matter how you package it.

I never thought Durango would get an exceptional coffee shop that does latte art! This place is by far the best coffee shop in Durango with espresso drinks. As for coffee, they generally do a pretty decent job with everything – lot’s of single-origin and roast over a dozen varieties. Yet, they only serve one option a day which keeps me from coming in more often as I only drink light to medium roasts. It is extremely frustrating they expect everyone to want only one roast they choose to make that day. When they’re making a single-serve pour over, they really should give more than one option. Why do they roast so many varieties and then only serve one? If they decide to one day not be so dictatorial with pour overs I’ll revise this to give them 5 stars. Other than that, great espresso, reasonable prices, and very delicious snacks.

The north end of Durango was in sore need of a proper coffee house. 81301 is a great addition to the neighborhood, and has the potential to become a real social anchor. I think this is easily the best espresso in town, and the prices are really reasonable. Vibe is peaceful and friendly. They offer an impressive selection of expertly roasted beans, too– I love the Morning Stoke Blend! Check this place out and help them build the loyalty they deserve!
