We believe that everyone can be equipped and prepared for situations that may arise that are threatening to you and your family. Regardless of age, size, or physical ability you can:
Learn to be mentally prepared and anticipate threatening situations
Have the keys for de-escalation
Have plans in place to protect children and family members
Be equipped with evasive and defensive techniques
Our goal is to build confidence and empower women and girls through participation in our events and activities.
Meet the Business Owner
Ashley G.
Business Owner
Ashley is a graduate of Elon University with a degree in Exercise Sports Science. She is a native of Georgia, but has traveled extensively and lived abroad; most recently spending a year in Antigua, Guatemala. Throughout her travels, she has learned the value of being equipped to handle potentially dangerous situations. She began studying karate at the age of 10 under the training of Okochi Sensei, founder of Kaikudo Martial Arts. After a lengthy hiatus, she has recently returned to «finish what she started» and is working towards earning her black belt. When she is not training towards that goal or learning as much as possible regarding personal safety and self-defense, you can find her out dancing. She is excited about the Moxie Kicks and Chicks program because it is fun, relational, and provides the opportunity to empower women and girls.
