K P Hole Park is not as much a park as it is a starting point to tube the Rainbow River. The park is small but it does have all the necessities necessary to qualify it as a park. Picnic benches, trees, restrooms, parking area, the river, snack bar and etc. but put this all aside and this place is nothing more than a glorified drop in point for tubing the Rainbow River. Not that this is a bad thing, on the contrary, this is what it is and it is done very well. Once you arrive you are funneled to the cashier where you purchase wrist bands for the different services you desire. Such as park entrance fee, tube rental, locker and return bus service. When you finished here you can proceed in where there are changing rooms and all previously mentioned amenities at your disposal. You pick up your tube proceed to the docks and launch yourself onto the river where you can spend the next 3 to 4 hours enjoying all it has to offer. Yes, the river is truly wonderful but that is another review. At the take out point you walk up a short ramp and drop off your tube. You are then loaded on what appears to be an old school bus and shuttled back to your starting point. Voila, that’s what K P Hole Park is all about. All good and nicely done. Been here before and will definitely come back. Till then, Cheers.
