I was refused access to washroom/​restroom facilities before eating. Employee stated that no public facility existed. When I asked for the owner’s name and business address, I was met with hostility. I stated that I wanted to complain about not being able to wash or relieve myself before eating, and was offered an escort by the hostile man into the rear of the building to use the employee restroom. I felt unsafe going into the dark and private rear of the store with the hostile man. I chose to take my purchases and eat elsewhere, after finding a place to wash my hands.
