Eleven class rooms with full time and part time programs for infants through age 12. School aged before & after care program. County bus service to and from Mt. Harmony elementary school. History

Established in 2006.

We opened in the Fall of 2006 and have grown every year to where we are one of the largest, accredited, full time early childhood education centers in Calvert county. We are convenient to both shoppers and commuters, right off Route 4 behind the Safeway shopping center and across from the Dunkirk volunteer Fire Department.

Business Owner

Kid’s Campus strives to hire the best trained staff, and to offer continuing education support to ensure all our staff keep pace with the highest State educational standards for child care professionals.

The owner, Tracy Merriman Jost, earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Maryland in Paralegal Studies and worked in a law firm in Upper Marlboro that specialized in family law for three years. She returned to school in the evenings while working, and received a Master’s Degree in Education from Towson University and is now a member of the faculty at the graduate school. After teaching preschool in Calvert County, she opened Kid’s Campus in 2006.

Tracy completed a Pre-​PhD Certificate of Advanced Study in Education Public Policy from Towson Universtity. She is active in the National Association for the Education of Young Children and is the former President of the Maryland affiliate. The Governor of Maryland appointed her to his early childhood advisory committee.
