We work with buyers (first time home buyers as well), sellers, REO/Bank Owned/Foreclosures, as well as offer Rental Property Management services. Customer service and satisfaction is our top priority.
We also specialize in short sale assistance. We have attained our Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE) designation, and have helped many homeowners who are currently under water in their mortgages complete short sales on their homes.
History
Established in 2005.
MDC Realty was started by a husband and wife, Jill & Matthew Crofcheck. As top agents (ranked in the top 1% nationally) with their previous real estate brokerages, they decided that the real estate industry needed businesses that were truly catered toward the customers, and customer service, rather than just about ‘selling homes’. So rather than open a franchise of a national chain, they chose to open the doors to their own company — MDC Realty. Serving all of Southern Maryland, and located in Dunkirk (in Calvert County), their business focuses on providing the type of real estate service that consumers want and need. They provide their clients with a wealth of information and the benefit of their experience in helping them buy, sell, or short sale their home. MDC Realty is military friendly, and can help make relocation to the area a smooth transition.

Business Owner
Matthew Crofcheck is the Broker/Owner of MDC Realty. Matt grew up in Pennsylvania and relocated to Nevada as an early teen. He attended college at the University of California (Irvine).
While attending college he found his first job as a customer relations liason for the automotive marketing industry. It was there he realized his passion for providing top notch customer service and treating his customers the way that he expects to be treated.
After growing in the ranks and becoming a national sales trainer for companies that needed to learn how to sell their own products, he met his soon to be wife Jill in early 2005. It was then that he decided to plant his roots and join Jill in the world of Real Estate. Rather than focusing on the number of sales, they focused on giving their customers the best real estate experience they could. The business soon grew, as did their reputations, and shortly thereafter they opened the doors to their own Real Estate Company — MDC Realty.
