Fresh Premium Frozen Yogurt

I wouldn’t eat here and/​or support this man and his businesses. He doesn’t follow through on his commitments to pay people for use of their facilities to support his business. He didn’t make a payment to a school! The agreement was they were to pay 20% of your proceeds to the organization. It’s been almost a year and you have neglected to pay your debt to this organization. I’m not sure what kind of business they are running but it is not one that I would consider reputable. Please explain why a business would neglect to pay your debt to the kids who supported you and your efforts.

Refreshing FroYo. Always a pleasant staff but could use some tables to enjoy sitting down with family to eat FroYo.
Lovely /​standard mix of favors with loads of local school fundraisers, however the yogurt just isn’t very creamy — and I wish I knew why.

I read a nice article about this place in one of the local newspapers. It talked about how the owner is a local teen who decided to bring frozen yogurt to the northern end of Calvert. Because I like supporting local businesses as well as enjoy froyo, I decided to check this place out. I was very disappointed. My yogurt was just alright. An «alright» that meant I could eat my dessert or throw the rest away and I’d be equally satisfied either way. That’s not saying much. Also just alright were the staff. Not rude but not super friendly either. Price is a little high, but that is the case with most frozen yogurt places. Another reviewer wrote that you can get a discount by dancing while making the yogurt. Why can’t I just be given the best price without making a fool of myself? Sure it’s quirky, but I dance like Elaine from Seinfeld, so my saving a few coins doesn’t make up for the lost money of customers who would see me and run. Toppings seemed to have a decent variety, but there was too much mixing going on. A container should have just one topping, not the remnants of past guests mixed in.
The newspaper also noted that this was not the first business the owner of FRESH has owned and he had plans for other businesses in the area. Admire the ambition, and this is why I’m giving 2 stars when my gut tells me this was closer to a one star experience. Perhaps management is spreading too thin or likes the idea of owning something more than actually operating something.
I’m not writing them off yet, I will visit them again in the future to see if my overall experience improves. Until then, I wouldn’t recommend FRESH.

For a place named Fresh, my experiences have been far from it. Today, I was excited to add some «fudge round» pieces to my froyo, until I actually took a bite of the super stale cookie. Four flavors were out of order, including vanilla, which seems like a cardinal sin of ice cream places. How are new machines already on the fritz? The shop seemed muggy, and could have used a boost of a/​c. On a previous visit, the machines were messy and the staff wasn’t occupied doing anything else (so, IMO, they could have been cleaning them). Their lack of small-​child friendly seating options doesn’t help my family enjoy the experience. I will head down to the Prince Frederick options next time.

Best place for frozen yogurt in the Calvert County area! Always greeted by helpful and happy staff and they have lots fun promotions such as dancing the whole time you make your yogurt to get a discount. Always happy to support a locally owned business!

Not too impressed. Floors very, very sticky, unimpressive plywood homemade looking bench seating. Kiwi was mushy and brown, and when I mentioned something to the person at the front register, she had no reaction, apology or action. They have only been opened a few weeks and already ran out of napkins, spoons, etc. seems like general management is needed here. If they will compete with better shops, they must keep their toppings and atmosphere in tip top condition.
