Do not go to this place if you are in a hurry and looking to get a quick breakfast. Over 20 minutes to get 2 bagels! Completely unacceptable. Thanks for making us late to church when we had plenty of time when we arrived! The bagel didn’t make up for the awful experience. Not toasted at all and definetely not fresh. I could have had better from Dunkin or Publix! Please save yourself a trip and your money!!!

My husband and I were looking forward to some good bagels, we’re originally from NY. My husband ordered a scooped out sesame bagel with cream cheese… nothing crazy, right? Well, not according to the owner! He was so rude! Have you ever seen the episode on Seinfeld with the«soup Nazi»? He was the«scooped bagel Nazi»! He went off on my husband on how they don’t scoop bagels and not in a nice way. My husband offered to do it himself. The owner still said no. What a jerk! Needless to say, we left! Don’t bother giving these people your money. Not only are they rude, but their bagels didn’t look like they were good anyway. Their choice of cream cheese toppings didn’t look like anything special either.

My wife and I stopped here yesterday on our search for good bagels in the Tampa Bay area, and we’ll never darken their doorway again. I’ll give the bagels a «D» at best, since they have the same manufactured taste and texture as frozen bagels sold at any supermarket. The owner and his cellmate receive a solid failing grade. I evidently committed a mortal sin by dropping my wife off by the door, since she had a recent leg injury and limp. Although I immediately parked in an open spot in the lot, the owner scolded my wife for blocking the doorway and warned«not to do it again». Believe me, if I knew of that treatment before we got home, the bagels may have been placed elsewhere instead of in the trash.

I go here for breakfast quite often. My boyfriend always gets the Cuban bagel and loves it everytime. I’ve never had a bad experience here. I recommend it allot.

Pretty good bagels, be sure to ask for extra cream cheese if you like a lot. The people are always pleasant which is unique to Dunedin.

I would love to have given a small shop like this a positive review but I just could not. The owner of the shop was just plain rude and did not help me at all! I’m sorry but given the fact that this is a small shop, you would think that the owner would be a little more polite! Any who, I don’t really care about the service just as long as they serve good food. I ordered a dozen bagels around 10:30am, and they were by far the worst bagels I have ever eaten. Although my expectations for bagels are higher than the average person’s who lives in Florida, only because I am from New Jersey, I put my high expectations to the side on this one. All I am going to say is that the bagels were extremely tough to the point where my teeth were in pain after chewing an entire bagel. You would think that the bagels should be a little more fresh due to the fact that I arrived in the morning; however, they were not. I do not think they prepare fresh bagels daily. I would not return to this establishment ever again, nor would I recommend this place to others.

I have no idea how this place is in business. The owner is a grumpy New Yorker. No greeting or smile upon entering. Which we could have ignored had the food been decent. We ordered bagel sandwiches and they were so gross we fed most of it to the squirrels at the park. The cheese is a kraft slice, the egg is made from a liquid and the bacon we flimsy and gross. We asked for extra crispy bacon and it was completely ignored. He then swatted my moms hand from reaching for her receipt. I honestly wouldn’t go back if the food was delish. The food was horrible and to make it worse it was expensive. $ 20 for 3 bagel sandwiches and OJ. We feel robbed. Don’t waste your time or money!

One of my favorite locally owned mom and pop shops. Wonderful people work here and they have the best bagels in town. Defiantly worth checking out. They usually close around 2 so make sure to come early.

I have live in the area for many years. Eaten at all of the bagel shops. This place does’nt even come close. if you going to make bagel with lox spread. Put enough on so you can taste it. Very thin layer. Very cheap. I payed enough for it. I would not go back.

$ 3.30 for a barely toasted bagel and a fake egg round.(No cheese or meat) I would have been better off spending another three dollars for a full meal at another local restaurant. A disappointment, Especially since the sign on the door said best bagels third year in a row. The bagel was fair and the egg was tasteless.

Definitely a fan of this awesome bagel joint. Its a small family owned place on main street. The owner always greets guests with a friendly hello. Not a lot of space, so if you’re thinking of coming with a large group, I would get it to go. Salt bagels(which are amazing) are made only on Sundays. My favorite is the Lox all the way on salt. They serve up a strong cup of joe. Very reasonably priced.

My boyfriend and I frequent here often. The owners are so friendly and make one hell of an everything bagel. We usually get the coffee — always delicious– and egg and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel. Bagels are always fresh. They also have homemade cream cheeses with a variety of flavors. I’ve had the honey pecan one which was so good(recommended for any sweet tooth). Others I’ve seen are Jose Cuervo, Tabasco, veggie, pumpkin and more. I haven’t tried those but they look amazing. If your looking for lunch they also have Cubans and other sandwich offerings.

I love their onion/everything bagels and I’m a picky eater. I’m also in LOVE with their vegetable cream cheese. Everything there is so fresh and real. I hate going to a bagel shop and everything is packaged. I give them so much credit for doing what they do in such little space. Best bagels and cream cheese ever! I’ve had a decent cuban from there as well. But I’m more in it for the bagels.(;

Great food and really nice staff. I really like the lox. I’m pretty shocked the reviews are not better. They deserve a much higher star rating! Try it out.

I wanted to like this place, I really did. I understand what previous reviewers said about stake bagels. My opinion is that they may just be different than most are used to. Either way I did end up throwing the top half away. Everything else was fine but there weren’t tons of people there either. Just wad quite disappointed with the bagel itself.

Meh… I wasn’t impressed with this spot. Looking past the array of hand written signs and lack of available bagels, the food was ok. I got the pastrami, egg, and cheese. There was hardly any pastrami and the cheese wasn’t melted. My wife also had the pleasure of adding spoiled creamer to her coffee. I think we’ll just stick with Einstein’s or St Pete Bagel.

They have really great bagels and cream cheese. Most of their cream cheese seems to be homemade, and very fresh. This will become a Sunday tradition when I am not feeling like a full breakfast at Kelly’s, or making breakfast myself.

All of my family has said that they pass this place all the time, but didn’t realize it was really there. Signage revamp alert. Because this place is easily the best bagel shop in the area(maybe not that competitive of a category, but still…) Charming interior and even more charming proprietor. I had the Nova Lox bagel and it was scrumdillyumptious. My new favorite breakfast spot in Dunedin(sorry Kelly’s).

Meh… that’s how I sum this place up. The bagels were not on display, therefore not tempting me with their potential yumminess. I ordered a cinnamon raisin with honey/pecan cream cheese. I felt that my bagel was a day old-definitely not fresh and at $ 2.85 I was disappointed. Not much else to say…
