Absolutely terrible experience. I would tell anyone to run as fast as they can in the opposite direction. We had a salesman come to our home who promised drawings of what we were looking for in a sunroom «in a couple of days». Two weeks later we heard nothing, not a word. We called him back and after many attempts to speak with him got the typical «oh we are working on it right now!» response. This was the first red flag for me. Three days later we were presented with, literally, a stick figure like drawing on his computer of a very generic sunroom. It was ridiculous. Red flag number two. They never took pictures of the outside of the house, never stepped outside to look at where they would be building it, no measurements no nothing. Plus, they have no showroom to see actual rooms, and from the looks of what they have posted in their office, they don’t have much to show for. Therefore, we wanted to see rooms they had already built and they could only come up with a room in Barrington??? and one other suburb I can’t recall (we are in Geneva). Red flag number three. They only had TWO rooms in all of the burbs? Also, the drawings were completely terrible without any color, dimension, detail or option to modify as we were looking at it with the salesman. Then we were presented with a «March Madness Special» where if we put 1000 down we could lock in a discounted rate. This 1000 would be completely refundable if we chose not to go ahead with the room as we wanted a few days to think about dropping 35K to this company. We asked the salesman NOT to deposit the check until we decided if we were going to actually go ahead and work with them as to which he said «no problem». RIght… the next day it was deposited. Red flag number four and the last one for us. Getting the money back then became the biggest hurdle. After numerous phone calls (12?) and emails being ignored, we had to actually go the office in Dundee. This was also a real eye opener. WOW. We of course were told by Kelly, the manager at the office, that the salesman «had been on vacation» and probably hadn’t gotten our correspondence… whatever. We were also told we would have a check by the end of the week refunding our 1000. Of course it didn’t happen and we had to follow up again with Kelly, a week later, who clearly clearly had no clue. Apparently, they «forgot» to disperse the check and she had ten excuses as to why this happened. Finally, three days later we got the check, ironically dated the day after we had last spoken to Kelly. The whole thing was unbelievable and completely unprofessional. Please do not patronize this business. You will never be satisfied. I cannot imagine what it would have been like working with them if we had in fact gone with them. It would have been a disaster. I totally feel we dodged a bullet. Terrible terrible business… RUN!
