Cool Beanz Coffee

Went here for breakfast, very nice area. Looks like there’s some Co. going on on the right side. Batista was great! Drink was great! And the OG was delicious on multigrain bread!

Hey! cool beans.
We ordered four sandwiches, they said they would be ready in about 10 minutes, and the food was ready when we arrived. Delicious lemon poppyseed scone. I ordered the apple bomb with apple butter. Bagel was soft and favors melded well. Very tasty baked goods and sandwiches. There were people playing chess, and a young girl knitting a snowman. A great vibe to hang out or wander the gallery or come and grab a light lunch or breakfast. I did not get coffee or any drink so I can’t speak to that in the review.

I don’t drink coffee, but I was with two Europeans who needed coffee. We were concerned that McDonald’s might be our only choice until Unilocal led me to this place, less than a mile off the exit. Neat place, great looking baked goods, art shop, friendly service. This will become the place we take our esteemed visitors on our travel through the area.

Always pleased when I take the time to stop here instead of the local fast food places. Excellent soup and sandwiches. This is not a fast food restaurant so you have to wait a few minutes, but it is connected to an art gallery so you can browse while you wait. They also have very good coffee as well.

Very cute place. My mother and Aunt and I stopped here after a trip to Swan Creek and all of our drinks and baked goods were delicious :)

From out of town and stopped in on a trip. Personable staff. Decent selection of coffee and food. Various sweets to enjoy your coffee or tea. Positive vibe. Feels very comfortable but fresh and new. The gallery they share space with is pretty cool. Highly recommend.

I was in town and my brother told me that this place just opened. I decided to roll the dice and try to work there for half the day vs. driving to my office in Toledo.
Nice alternative to the chains. Wish is was a little quieter (hey, I was working!)…they were friendly though and have a loyalty rewards card.
Huge bonus — they offer almond milk. So this place automatically wins based on that.
I will be camping out there again soon I hope!

I just moved to Dundee this week and was thrilled to find such an inviting coffee shop in the town square. Not only does the shop have a great selection of pastries, sandwiches, and beverages, but it has comfy leather sofas in the front, a fabulously decorated interior complete with fresh flowers on the tables, and bonus points! an art gallery full of local pottery, woodwork, and paintings. And the barista I met on my first day was a sweetheart.
Cons: It’s a tad expensive, but take it with a grain of salt that I recently graduated from college.
Wish: They had loose leaf tea instead of bagged, but I’m a tea connoisseur and have sometimes over-​the-​top expectations when it comes to that. They do have looseleaf available for purchase along with tea pots and mugs. And a friend of mine said their coffee was good.
***Review update: Since posting this review a year ago, Cool Beanz now offers loose leaf tea, including their own homemade chai.
All-​in-​all, this place is a gem! I’m so grateful to have found this spot so close to home. It’s quiet enough to get hours of work done. Good food, chic décor, and relaxing atmosphere.

So happy Cool Beanz opened up in downtown Dundee! It really is a «cool» place… friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere and most important… great drink and food options all made in-​house!

Cool Beanz is just what Dundee needs! I ordered a grasshopper latte and it was absolutely delicious! The baristas are incredibly friendly and knowledgable. The baked goods are absolutely amazing. The atmosphere and seating is comfortable. I could sit and study for hours in this coffee shop. I could not be any happier and will definitely be a regular customer. :) :) :)
P. S. If you are hungry, the Mama Mia panini is to die for!!!
