History

Established in 1988.

Special Occasions by Vicki started out above McCoy’s Photography on Wheatland in Duncanville. She out grew the location and moved to CedarRidge and later to Main Street.

2007 Vicki gave up her retail location and started her home based business.

Vicki travels all over the country and abroad designing weddings and parties.

Vicki also is floral consultant and buyer and visual display specialist for several stores.

Vicki is now working from her home studio. Those in Duncanville, CedarHill and Midlothian that know and love Vicki’s work now know how to find her.

Vicki McPherson started her career in the floral industry at the age 15.

Vicki open her first store in Abilene in 1980. Moved to the metroplex in 1985. Worked in several flower shops until she opened Special Occasions by Vicki in 1988.

Vicki owned Special Occasions by Vicki was located in Duncanville until she sold the physical business not the name 2007.

Vicki traveled in the floral industry until 2011, when she moved back to Duncanville where she has picked up and restarted her home based floral business. Please call her and say Hello!
