I chose dentistry basically for selfish reasons. When I was interviewing for dental school, I was asked why I wanted to become a dentist. I said, I wanted to be a dentist because I like making things with my hands, I enjoy talking with people, and I wanted to be able to take off to go on field trips once I had children. That pretty much sums up my 24 year career! I still enjoy the artistic aspects of my field, as well as the personal relationships. I have learned a lot from my patients over the years; as a dentist, a mom, and now the daughter of a elderly parent. Many of you have given me hints, encouraged me, commiserated with me, and laughed with me along life’s way.

In return, my practice is an extension of my personality. I consider my practice my main ministry outside of my family. I try to be a source of encouragement, and to lighten people’s day with laughter. I have prayed with and for many of my patients, and have been blessed by my patients’ prayers many times over the years
