Love the atmosphere, very family oriented. The meat lovers pizza and chicken Alfredo are amazing. They have a very good variety on their menu. The food is authentic and the staff was wonderful.

First of all the service is fantastic. The man taking care of me was friendly & attentive without being intrusive. Not a fan of the tv but everyone seems to have them these days. My only real issue is the food. I should have asked for a recommendation or eaten something recommended here. Don’t get the chicken picata. The sauce was not good & the chicken was limp. I will be trying this place again & plan to update my review then. Next time I’ll try pizza or the chicken parmesan which my lovely server said was good.

Great customer service and the lunch specials are a great value. Some of them(Fettuccine Alfredo) were very pretty bland though.

Me and my sister ate lunch here on 2−3−15, this is an excellent Italian restaurant, the food is made prior to ordering it, it’s very delicious and affordable, the manager checks on the customers to make sure everything is OK, I highly recommend this Italian eatery.

Great little Italian place! Our waitress was very sweet & attentive. She was actually one of the best I’ve ever had! My husband & I went the Thursday before Valentine’s day and we were one of the only customers there. The environment was nice. We ordered the garlic cheese bread which was delicious & a meat lover’s pizza to split. Way more food than we needed & it was less than $ 19 total. The pizza was great too; the only thing I wasn’t crazy about was the marinara with the garlic bread which was a bit bland. Overall, it was a great experience & I would highly recommend it.

Stopped in for a quick lunch at 11:15. I was the only person in the restaurant. They have a lunch pizza slice special for $ 5. It includes a salad, one topping slice and a drink. Food was okay. Ambiance was good and wait staff was friendly & attentive. I would go back to try a true Italian meal :-)

The food, service, and atmosphere was perfect for our family. The staff was very sensitive to the needs of my special needs sons. My veal piccata al limon was delicious as was my husband’s pasta sampler and my sons’ pizza. Flawless family dinner date!

Veal Francese was really delicious! Glad we found this gem. Only thing earning 4-stars was frozen Tiramisu. Hoping to bump rating to 5-stars with our next visit!

We just ordered pizza about a week ago, they processed the order like a delivery, then told us we had to pick it up, they do NOT deliver. So my hubsters went and got the pizza, the waitress even brought it to the car, cuz my babe is on crutches! So he gets home, I get the pizza out of the car, and it was noticeably heavier on one side. Wanna know why? All of the toppings had slid to the top right corner of the box. I mean. Everything, even the cheese. So there went a $ 17 dollar medium pizza, even though I used a fork and spread the cheese, tomatoes, and what was suppose to be spinach all around the crust, it looked like vomit and we lost out appetites. Idk why in a town as small as ours, with several pizza and a few Italian restaurants, how the staff could let something like that leave their establishment. I hope they read Unilocal and will take note. We support local business as much as we can, but idk if we will give them another opportunity.

Good everytime If you have not tried Amore’s pizza then you’re missing out. Reminds me of the pizza I used to get from a mom and pop pizzeria back in the day. Lasagna is also good. They also let you bring your own wine and beer. They will also cater to large parties if you call in advance. I have been to Amore’s in tabout 30 times and only had 1 bad pizza and that was replaced. Food is priced right and the atmosphere is wonderful. If you want to have a great dinner and time and don’t want to drive all over the place then don’t miss this little gem in the wall. It can get busy on the weekends. Hope that helps,

My husband and I have tried this new italian restaurant in duncanville twice now. it is quickly becoming our go-to local italian restaurant. Their cannelloni is amazing and house dressing is fabulous! My husband loved their amore sampler. We look forward to returning to try the pizza!

This wonderful small Italian restaurant just opened in duncanville and I am thrilled. My husband and I decided to try it after receiving an ad in the mail, and we were shocked at the quality of the food for the price. The menu offers your typical Italian spread… and includes«new York style» pizza as well. On our first visit we tried several pasta dishes. One was spaghetti with the mushroom marinara and let me tell you, it was the BEST marinara I’ve found yet in the Dallas area. The stuffed shells and baked ziti were delicious as well. The entrees include garlic rolls that are crispy crusted with gooey bread inside… just perfect! Yesterday we went for our second visit, and since we moved here from the north east, I still haven’t found real new York style pizza yet here, and so we decided to give it a try and it was great! The sauce is obviously home made(cooked over 6 hours according to the owner) and the crust is delicious. It was pretty darn close to true new York style, too. Prices are VERY affordable and my husband and I are really looking forward to returning!
