The Charleston Franchise has been open since 1977. David Mount opened the franchise after getting his MBA from WVU. Ryan Mount (David’s son) and Jason Fender (David’s son-​in-​law) run the day to day operations. Randy Retort is the general manager for the WV area and has worked for David since 1981. We also have satellite offices in the Beckley area. Over the years David has owned multiple franchise locations and is constantly developing ways to expand and grow the business to benefit the employees, customers and community.

David Mount first opened the the Charleston Franchise in 1977. David has over 40 years’ experience with Stanley Steemer, having owned multiple Stanley Steemer locations over the years. He is always striving to develop and expand the business in ways that benefit the customer, the employees, and the community. Currently, the day-​to-​day operations of the Salem franchise are run by Ryan Mount, David’s son, and Jason Fender, David’s son-​in-​law.
