Allstar Air Conditioning Heating Plumbing & Electrical Servi

This review is not a critique of the quality of work that they do. I do not know that information because I did not use them. This is a critique of my experience with them and ultimately why I would never use them in the future.
My AC went out. The tech came out and spent 10 minutes with me and some smiles and small talk and that was that. I have a home warranty and was obviously doing a claim through them.
An hour later, my home warranty company calls me and tells me that they will not cover our AC unit because the tech told them it failed due to pet damage? WHAT? We do not own a pet or having animals living in our fenced in back yard. In addition, we have lived in the home for 2 WHOLE years and the AC unit has gotten us through brutal winters and brutal summers. The AC unit is also over 15 years OLD. The unit died of age. Period. Whatever pet damage may have occured 5 or 10 years ago did not cause the unit to fail yesterday.
The fact that this guy was not be transparent in his assessment and report to me is dishonest and rude. If his opinion was this — he should have had the decency of letting me know so I could be prepared for my next steps. Shady.
