Business Owner
Young Kim is a luthier. He specializes in the making of violins, fiddles, violas and cellos. He also provides adjustments, repairs, re-graduation and commissioned instrument services.
After graduating from the Chicago School of Violin Making (CSVM) as an apprentice of Maestro Tshu Ho Lee, Mr. Kim opened a violin shop in South Florida. He now resides in Duluth, GA. Mr. Kim has over 20 years of experience making, repairing and restpring stringed instruments.
His experience with stringed instruments expands beyond working on them. He is also a proud parent of an accomplished violinist in the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and can easily relate to parents with musical children.
