Tutelage Academy was founded in Johns Creek, Georgia by Louis Chong. Growing up, Louis consistently excelled in academics and test-​taking, scoring a perfect 1600 on the SAT, getting accepted to Duke University and eventually scoring a 41 out of 45 on the MCAT. In 2009, Louis began tutoring kids he met while volunteering at a community youth group. The first Tutelage group of students began with just 3 students, quickly growing to over 20 students within 6 months.
