Been here twice now & this place is pretty good. Prices on clothes & shoes are decent, and home décor items are cheap. The furniture however is wayyy overpriced. I found a wooden hexagon-shaped table that I fell in love with, but the price tag? $ 35. Seriously? I found the same one at Goodwill for $ 8 and was hoping to make them a set, but not for that price. All the other furniture items that caught my eye were also pricey. Sad face, because they actually do have a pretty decent furniture selection. They also have a nice framed art selection too.

THISPLACEDESERVES A CLOSERLOOK! I have always felt that Salvation Army stores were second to Goodwill Stores because the one in Roswell was always a hot unorganized mess when I visited. Today, when I walked into this store, I was pleasantly surprised with not only the organization but also the quality of the merchandise. In terms of clothing, the items that were displayed appeared clean, fashionable and actually wearable. I say wearable because some second hand stores just seem to sell junk that no one would want to wear because they don’t understand the difference between items that should be sold and items that should be discarded. Instead of just having furniture stacked to the side, items were actually staged,(beds set up with linens, dinner tables set and ready etc.). Again the quality of the furniture was really nice and I felt that the prices were fair. However, when you decide to purchase dated furniture,(that has good bones and is in great shape otherwise), you may want to consider the additional costs to update the furniture,(painting, stripping/staining, re-upholstering) in order to decide if it is really worth the cost. If you love treasure hunting and re-purposing old items, you will like browsing this store. It is definitely a great resource for those looking to inexpensively furnish their new apartment or freshen up their wardrobe.

This review is simply for this location’s donation center. I had mistakenly donated an item, a Comcast DVR, and wanted it back. I went back the same day but unfortunately the center was already closed. So I returned early the next morning, and the attendant, Kris, was very helpful and understanding. He trudged through mountains of bags of donations to find my item! I was very impressed! I simply explained my situation and he acted. Outstanding donation center. Thanks again Kris!
