History

Established in 1984.

My father started in the insurance business in 1963, and I traveled with him thoughout the summers. Listening to him advise customers, I guess, rubbed off on me. His nickname in South GA was Mr. Insurance, based upon his extensive knowledge of insurance contracts and his undying love to help people. I guess a little of that rubbed off on me too.

After Graduating from Georgia Southwestern College, I began working with my father in his agency. His prior experience was as commercial sales director for Cotton States, and when they made a change to leave the commercial marketplace, the agents that he helped offered to help him. They refered the business that they could no longer place to his agency. That is where i came in. I was sent to work with the agents that wanted us to have their book of business to learn how to sell. Through their advise and recommendations, I was able to start my own operation. I thank them for their assistance, most have retired, but I stlll stay in touch wih many of them.
