I came in because the alert came up saying my tire pressure was low. They told me it was due to cold weather. I had to go to another dealership to find out there was a screw in my tire that was easily visible. I also got my oil changed and it’s already at 89% level. How is that even possible? They also told me there was a recall ony car. After waiting for 2 hours it was not fixed. Overall a poor experience and I won’t be going back.

My experience at Rick Hendrick was the best car buying experience I’ve ever had! Miguel Guerrero was very professional and at the same time personable. He helped me pick out the 2015 Chevrolet Cruze that won my heart. :-) The entire process went smoothly and only took a few hours. I will most definitely recommend anyone I know to Rick Hendrick.

I love how we greeted and everyone was concerned with our well being. It was very accommodating and felt like we were visiting family. Only issue I have when you call to speak to certain departments or personnel, there is an issue with connection, but other that I’m very pleased.

My wife and I where leaving for vacation. Shortly into our drive (92 degrees and humid) we realized that the AC on my brand new Silverado wasn’t working. My wife looked up the closest Chevy dealer to our location and this was it. We pulled in to the service center and told them we where in a hurry to get on the road before traffic and left work early to beat the Atlanta holiday traffic. Service guy told me they would get to it ASAP. 30 min later I see him in the waiting room talking to another customer. He says to me when he is done talking to that customer. Sorry we had some scheduled appointments ahead of you we will get to it as fast as we can. Brand new truck, headed out on vacation, don’t seem to wanna make the problem fixed ASAP even tho the truck hasn’t even had its first oil change yet. I would think if you had a vehicle that new and is covered by warranty they would fix it ASAP and get me back on my vacation. Doesn’t seem it matters to these guys

My daughter went in to purchase a car online price $ 8800. they let her drive home with no paperwork signed. came back day later, they practically forced gap, extended warranty and oil changes and the price went up to financing 10k. after telling we no longer want the car because the price changed, they threaten lawsuit stating that once we took the car home it s ours, Carlos said he will have the car towed to her house. 1. this is why women don’t like to go to dealerships alone. 2. why have the audacity to be threatening over a $ 10k deal 3. what happened to customer service? when they came back to an agreeable price and it was time to actually sign the paper work, the finance guy kept saying «we are including oil change» what do you mean we are including oil change, she is financing it because it is included in the loan, it is not that you are giving it to her. This was a nasty deal, it took 2 days, the first day went in around 5 left at 11pm, the next day went in around 5:30 left at 8pm. NEVER, EVER think you are getting anything free from them because it is included in your loan, do not take the care home because if you decide not to keep it, they threaten legal action. And they are very intimidating and threatening people.

Took my car there to get it serviced and boy did they stick it to me. Cost of the repairs was over $ 2000 on a three year old car. None of it was covered under a power train warranty. Even though it affected the operation of the car to a significant degree (like a blown motor).
Oh, and if it was used when you purchased the car, you have no recourse, but to pay for the bill as no parts are available anywhere else. As a back handed comment from the service person, «I could talk to GM to get them to lower the bill. Oh, but you purchased the car used. Sorry,» as she said with a smile.
They did comp me an oil change, lowered the labor from $ 150/​hr to $ 130/​hr (telling me repeatedly, «we are doing you a huge favor») and the car was fixed. But they didn’t wash the car. Considering I just paid a huge bill, they could have at least wash the car. Other dealers do.
Next time, I’m buying foreign.

Stay as far away as possible from these dishonest, and shiesty crooks. They will do and say anything just to try to get you to buy a vehicle.
For example, they will tell you they have final approval on a vehicle, then let you drive it home. Then four days later call you back and lie and say they just need you to come in to re-​sign some paperwork. Only to be told when you get there that the bank didn’t approve you but hey, why not take this lesser vehicle that you really don’t want instead?
I thought that type of practice was very unprofessional, dishonest, and unethical. I hope their General Manager sees this review and makes swift changes.
By the way, I went to Nissan South the nnext day and bought a brand new and better vehicle than what I originally went to Rick Hendrick for. Now those guys know how to take care of their customers!

We purchased a 2015 Chevrolet Traverse. My salesman was Jake Gilleland, and he was really great. I came in by chance just wanting to see if their prices were comparable to what I would have gotten with Carvana and he pretty much asked me to consider financing thru Rick Hendrick and they could probably match and/​or beat my trade-​in value. The dealership was able to match the trade-​in and finance me for a new car, and with a better interest rate than what my Credit Union offered. Credit Union offered 5.6%, and they got us 4.9% and we don’t have the strongest credit… poor to fair at best really. My car payments were also kept well within the range that I requested. I know that buying a car gets tedious and yes there will be pull and tug but that’s going to happen with any major purchase. The Salesman was not pushy at all, he listened to our concerns and tackled the list one-​by-​one until both sides were in agreement.

TYPICAL USED CAR SALES
I was interested in a particular Corvette they had listed on eBay for $ 23,500 or so. I work in the biz, and I know what the car is worth (considerably less than that) so I placed a bid for about 16,000 as I recall. The phone rang almost immediately and it was some clown from the dealership trying to hard sell me on the car. I explained repeatedly that I am in the biz myself, the car is over priced and there is no way I am paying that ridiculous price. He said he’s going to go crunch come numbers (yeah right) and call me back with his best offer. He came back at $ 22,500. I started laughing and informed the sales guy that I was no longer interested and to remove me from any list as a potential lead.
The very next day, some lady calls me from there who wanted to ask me about the corvette. I read her the riot act and she decided that I was probably not the guy to argue with. She hung up in a hurry.
The auction ended, the car did not sell, and they re-​listed it at $ 21,888.
So much for $ 22,500 being their absolute best and final offer.
So guess what guys? You get a rotten review for trying to take advantage of me and by lying directly to me.
Update: as of today (March 4) it is relisted again for 20,777.00.
I just hate the typical used car slimy sales effort.

Ok lets start this. 1. go here. 2. Ask for Garrison Majors. 3. Answer his questions and listen to his suggestions. 4. Sign paperwork and Drive Home Happy.
Yes its really that simple there. Ok now for the details. Yes I shopped other locations. But fact is that within 10 min of talking to Garrison. I had the truck I wanted sitting infront of me. And it was everything I wanted. Ive purchased about 10 new vehicles in my life. And this was as easy and painless as any I have experienced. I wont say that my entire visit was without complaints. But I can say that over all my satisfaction level is so high with this dealership and this purchase. My own mother and father are now looking to purchase here. Trust that if I trust them enough to deal with my mother and family. That has to say something positive. Im hopeing that the service dept here is just as good as the sales experience.
