I just hate the trend now towards having to reserve a seat at the time you buy a ticket. What purpose does it serve for me to choose a seat to sit in? This slows down the ticket line at the box office, and leaves me wondering «who will I sit next to — a bratty kid, a sick person, one with too much perfume, etc». Yesterday I went to a show and two seats away this woman talked incessantly throughout the movie. You feel compelled not to move because other seats may be «reserved». I go here less and less because I found a different theater where you simply buy a ticket and sit wherever you want to. Reserve a seat? I think not.

We visited after the remodel since we are now spoiled by the the theaters at Avalon and Northpoint. I was really looking forward to new shiny things and sumptuious recliners.
The experience overall was just ok. Better seating than a «regular» movie theater but not as nice as other theaters with recliners. The seats are smaller and they don’t actually recline very much. They’re also not connected into the loveseat formation that other luxury theaters have.
There was very little staff on hand, we had to go look for a person to sell us tickets. Free movie anyone? There was no gatekeeper but there was ONE person working concessions so we got to stand in line for cokes and popcorn.
It is quite uncomfortable! Aside from the subpar recliners (when you’re paying real recliner ticket prices) it is damn cold in here. I had a jacket and a blanket and froze my tail off. You’ll also get to stumble around after the movie because once it goes off, no house lights come on!
For the same high ticket and concession prices you can go to a much, much nicer place. Avalon Regal is my favorite but Northpoint AMC is great, too!

The theatre itself is very overpriced however the staff is very nice and exceptionally helpful! Zach was very helpful and patient in listening to my grandmas questions.

Nothing bothers me more than when a simple situation is not handled well. Management could have done a tiny thing which was common sense. Instead they quoted policy. Won’t be back.

It was a Monday night with no one I the theatre. Wife and I decided to purchase 2 glasses of wine and popcorn for our show. After an hour, I come back out to order 2 more glasses and the cashier is asking me for my wife to be here with to purchase 2 beverages. Really??? You just saw me and my wife, put a band around our wrists and you tell me I can’t get 2 drink. Where in America would you bother your wife to come out of movie for a drink. I even pleased with the manager that… really, how inconvenient it is for couple to come and expect this… and could she be lenient this once. Of course, not.
Other than that, this place is out — dated even with the reclining chairs. the bathrooms are awful and with all the dining cinemas opening. this place should be gone soon especially with the idiotic drink rules they have there.

Have tried over the last few years to like this theatre. Had the strangest experience today. Dropped my 21 year old daughter off to by movie tickets for us to see a movie. she stood in line 15 minutes because it was crowded and they never have enough people selling tickets. she then comes back out and says she needs her i.d. the ticket taker told her she did not look 17? Really she looks 21!!! She goes back in with I.D. stand in line again and proceeds to come back out he won’t sell her two. Because maybe she is going to take someone under 17. Which by the way she can she’s 21! It was crazy. 30 minutes of this I came in and asked for two tickets. I am 53! He stared at me. I asked who the manager was he said himself. Tony who looks 17 himself. With so many new theatres I will never go back. Lifes too short too be treated this was. Well Tony you have managed to alienate a customer and I will proceed to tell everyone not to go to your theatre. Maybe your to young to run anything.

Had a great experience at this location, security on hand by Johns Ceeeks finest after all the theater shootings theatres.
We went to 10pm showing of a 1^st day release and were only 2 or maybe 10 viewing it, had the whole place to ourselves. Very clean, new leather chairs were very comfortable. Staff at ticket check was pleasant and the girl at the concession was very helpful. I will return to this location again.

It has been a while since I visited this theater simply because I just don’t watch movies anymore. However, back when I did frequent theaters, this was the only one my family and I would frequent because it was just perfect for us, clean, easy in and easy out, perfect size and no drama from patrons. The reason that we had no problems probably has something to do with the times we chose to see movies: Sunday morning at 10am. At this time, there was never a line and the theater was never crowded. You could always be assured that the popcorn was freshly popped.
Although I don’t recommend eating any of the available food items, my husband always had to have the popcorn and a beverage. I am still waiting for him to «outgrow» this need, In an age of large theaters with reclining seats and up-​scale menus this theater is still a gem. It offers simplicity, intimacy, and a good show; a perfect choice for families.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I stood in line at the concession area for 15 minutes only to be told I have to wait another 10 for what I ordered.
I spoke to a manager who told me that «everything is made to order». Bogus crap. I will continue to go to Studio Movie Grill where I spend the same amount of money for a movie and dinner as apposed to half ass service and stale popcorn.

We went to go see San Andreas at Medlock Bridge today at 8:15pm for Theatre #7, RPX. In the middle of the movie, the film stopped and the light came on. No staff came in to inform anything to us so people started to go outside and came back to tell the rest of us that the light went out in entire theatre.
Most of us came out of the theatre wondering what to do. Then the «Manger» Abby (Not sure about her name. She is short, blond, white girl with glasses) came forward at the outside of the theatre ensuring everyone that the movie will start in 10 – 15 minutes that she will make sure to play at exactly where they were cut off. She also mentioned that if any of us needs to leave, they are to give us the refund/​admission ticket.
As she was completing the sentence, the lights came back so we all got happy and came back to the theatre. Well, the light was back on but in the theatre, there was nothing on the screen, but just the sound was going on. Dark screen but we are «Listening» to the movies…
We waited patiently… More than 10 – 15 minutes. Some people got frustrated and left the theatre. I went out to see what is going on. Abby the manager repeated same thing — 10 to 15 minutes, we will play exactly where we left off. It’s just the projector warming up. But if you would like, we will give you refund.
I thought that was just so absurd. You already have ruined entire evening, movie has stopped, but not being active in satisfying the customer. So I came forward and told her that even if I continue to watch the movie, I think I deserve the refund ticket. She asked me for the movie stub. I gave the 2 Adult, 1 Child RPX tickets. She gave me 2 general tickets. I said «Excuse me, I gave you 3 tickets» then she tear up another ticket and threw it at me saying «I have no problem giving you another one» — exact wording…
I told her this is not the first time in same theatre this happened. Then she argued with me that this is the first time. I told her that exactly three of us came here to watch «Maleficient» and the exactly same thing happened that the manager at that time gave us 3 tickets plus 2 extra for the popcorn and the drinks we were never able to enjoy. She told me «That is not true, not to my knowledge» Well, maybe she is not too knowledgable. I am too busy to make up stories like that. Your company should have some sort of log about that incident. So with how this «Manager» was handling the whole situation, I was already not too happy with movie being stopped, I got pretty pissed off.
I went back into the theatre to my boyfriend and my daughter and told them that I got 3 tickets and wanted to know if they want to stay or leave. We decided to wait just a little longer. During that time, my boyfriend was looking at the tickets Abby gave and told me that these are not RPX tickets and we need to pay extra to watch RPX if we use those tickets. Being really frustrated with this whole thing, couple of the staff members came in to tell us that we are the only ones that was in the theatre… We felt the urge to leave.
We came out and looked for the Supervisor to Abby but there was no sign. I really did not feel like talking to her so I approached another guy in the uniform, who identified himself as a manger (Asian Guy). I told him that Abby gave us General Tickets instead of RPX. He went to go ask her. Then she says «I need your stub» OMG. You already took it. Then they said we bought the tickets from FANDANGO. NO, we bought it from your Kiost in front. They were asking for fandango receipt. I explained to them that we bought the tickets at the Kiost on the right side of theatre by front door. On the top of that, we just came out from RPX theatre (#7), then they should know it is RPX tickets! Somehow we found the receipts and was able to «EXCHANGE» our general admissions to RPX admissions.
Why do people come to movies?
We come to movies to be entertained and be happy about it.
There was nothing happy about this incident and completely not acceptable on how your staffs handled this situation.
Your company needs to hire more mature, experienced staff members to handle this kind of problems — not those young kids, not even fresh off the college!
I can tell you right now that we are NOT going back to that theatre, ever again.
I mean, in my lifetime, I had 3 blackouts in the theatre — Trust me, I am a movie goer. Of three black outs, 2 were from this theatre. The other one? Los Angeles, back in 1990!

Standard movie theatre. The seats are standard. I think I’ve been spoiled with the reclining chairs available at other movie theatres. Didn’t eat any snacks there but I’m disappointed they don’t serve alcohol.

Decent place, but do not waste your money on the «RPX» experience. I am not sure what «RPX» is, but I noticed no difference between any other movie that I have seen in a theatre, but it cost $ 5 more a ticket. A big waste

I Love this theatre … the employees are the best ever! Don’t waste your time seeing no good deed … horrible!!!

Never had an issue with this movie theatre before but we are here for captain america 2 and the trailers have been cutting out constantly. The screens went black, then went to a windows screen, then black again. We didn’t even get to see all the trailers!
Bad visit. I’ll be back to try again another time.

The theaters smell but hey, dont all movie theaters? lol. What bothers me is the food. I recall Regal theaters having Cinnamon Sugar pretzels in little packets that they microwaved. Gross … i know. I didnt know it could get any worse. Now they dont have the pretzels… they have cinnamon sugar bites. Nasty, sticky ugh yuck. And their Nachos is basically regular nachos in packets and they give you some random cheese sauce. Ugh grossss.
The movie watching experience? I cant even focus with the appalling food options. And the ticket prices are absurd.

What the Hell Regal… I do not like to leave a bad review, but other then the movie, there was nothing good i have to say :(
1– parking always sucks, we usually sneak around the back and park in the alley
2– the ticket line is long, we use the kiosks. The hubby wanted to come here because they have a specialty theater– and it would make Thor that much more amazing… Well i don’t think that $ 16 bucks a ticket can make any movie that much better…
3– the concession like is ridiculous, Yes, i am aware that everywhere you go the price of a drink and popcorn is stupid. but the complaint is more for the fact that the theater had 3 lines open, the staff at 2 of the lines was more interested in a fellow staffer returning to work then paying attention to what customers were ordering, and the movie will be half over before ts your turn to order…
4– I am 100 000)% revamping a theater… but I dont know what they have done in the specialty theater. it smells awful, and the seats are a soft pleather type of material that the whole theater can hear you move around in the seat… there’s no recline to them, they only stiffly rock, I am 6 ft tall and leg room is hard to come by, the seats are short (length wise) and the arm rests are crappy.
As stated above, if you haven’t seen Thor, i recommend it, but go somewhere else… because this theater is past its prime… Even the bathrooms were gross… 2 of the stall doors didnt have locks on them and not that this is a theater specific issue… but i have a glimmer of hope that one day women will learn to stop peeing all over the seat and just plop their hineys down and go…

Protip: there are kiosks to the right of the ticket counter. You can buy, pick up, or redeem tickets there… saw a lot of people waiting in 20+ deep lines. Ew no, be smart and skip all that with the kiosks! No extra fees and takes about 30seconds max.
Now for this particular rating, I was SO turned off by the mold smell coming from the theatre (we were in #7). For a theatre that size, you KNOW something is horribly wrong if you can smell mold– there has to be enough to pervade throughout the entire theatre. To add to the ambiance, the calibration of the picture focus was off, and all my friends agreed that the sound coordination was off too.
Unacceptable– for the health hazard and uncalibrated shenanigans.

We don’t go out to the movies much anymore, but saw a film last week at the Regal Medlock Crossings and had a good time there. We visited on a weekday night, 7 pm show, and the place seemed EMPTY. No complaints about having the place to ourselves, of course. The theater room itself was clean and well-​maintained. Seats were comfortable. Snack choices were normal for the Regal Group (and most others). Staff was courteous.

This is a clean, large movie theater with a slushie machine! A few of us came here for the new spider man movie in 3D. We did not need to buy tickets online ahead of time (for a ‘convenience fee’) as the theater was not at all crowded when we went (random rainy weekday night). I have heard though that this theater can get crowded on Fri/​Sat nights. The seats were comfortable, and I have no complaints.
Bonus that there are some great dessert options in this shopping center as well as nearby (frozen yogurt, bubble tea etc).

I can safely say I will never go back to this theater. If I could give it a negative star, I would.
We went on a Thursday night, around 7:20. The manager on duty was a young woman (and I hesitate to even say woman because she looked like a high schooler) who, when we asked if we could change our Fandango tickets from an 8pm showing to 7:30, barely nodded before taking the tickets from our hands, punching some things into a computer, and saying, «There you go.» A smile goes a long way but I’m not sure her face was capable of one.
Then there was the guy behind the concession stand. Rude, forgetful. He forgot to put in a pizza order for the people before us, and when he took that out, he forgot to put our order in — which we didn’t know. So we’re waiting. and waiting. and he’s back to ringing people up. The robotic manager comes back and brings us a pizza, which we explain isn’t ours. «Well, what are you waiting for then?» We tell her, she goes back to the kitchen, and starts preparing our food, which should’ve been prepared at least 10 minutes before hand. My husband goes to the guy behind the concession stand and asks about our food, and he has the nerve to say, «It’ll be 7 minutes, I told you.» Nope, he never did. I said, «This service is a bit ridiculous,» and he justifies it by saying, «Well, I forgot to put the pizza in before your order.»
Oooohkay.
So our food is finished and he walks over with quite the attitude, slides it over to us and says, «Ketchup and mustard over there. Enjoy your show.» It was quiiiiiite sarcastic. My husband says, «You know, if you hate your job so much, you should get a new one.» Concession dude replies, «I only hate it when I have to deal with assholes.» Meanwhile, the manager is just. standing there. In fact, there was ANOTHER manager behind in the kitchen who could hear everything and she didn’t say a word.
So. Yeah. Never again. I’m pretty forgiving and will give places a second chance, but not with these jerks. It’s run by a bunch of people who are inexperienced, period.
