We’re a FUN full service dance entertainement company in Atlanta offering Casino (Cuban Salsa), Rueda, Salsa, Cha Cha Cha, Son, Bachata, and Kizomba plus MC/DJ services, live music, and shows.
We focus on promoting Cuban music and dance with group activities, parties, and events. We host monthly dance socials and present Atlanta’s annual My Salsa Festival, a premier full weekend dance congress with world class national and international artists, dance workshops, performance shows, live music, and parties all located at one hotel.
History
Established in 2007.
The director of My Salsa Dance School, Michael «Chino Casino», started teaching and promoting casino style salsa and Cuban music in Miami in 1994. He moved to Atlanta in 2007 and created My Salsa Dance School in 2009. With our 18+ years of experience, we have joined talents with Cuban Master Instructors Ana Llorente and Hansel Melgares plus Venezuelan Dancer/Instructor Javier Rosillo to offer Metro-Atlanta more than 40 years of combined teaching and dancing experience. We host group dance classes, private lessons, corporate events, DJ/Live Music services, choreography, and host parties in North Atlanta and the surrounding areas.

Business Owner
Born and raised by Cuban-Chinese parents from Bauta, Cuba. Upon arriving in Miami he was a fan of NY Salsa and Cuban music. In 1994, was a regular at the only Cuban music house party at the time called «Starfish» every Friday night. The original stages of Rueda de Casino and the syllabus teaching format in Miami and the U. S were created at these parties. At Salsa Lovers Dance School in 1995, the first Casino style salsa school in the U.S. he became a dancer, instructor, performer, and choreographer of Miami and Cuban style Rueda de Casino salsa. Michael is known in the salsa community as «Chino Casino». Chino Casino performed and taught workshops to thousands in many salsa events in Miami and the Southeast U.S. with his fun and interactive teaching style. He is director of MY SALSA Dance School located in Metro Atlanta, GA. where he’s dedicated to teaching and promoting Cuban music, dance, and culture. Contact Chino Casino for your next event!
