Cascades At Gwinnett

I have lived here almost a year and I curse myself everyday for moving in here. From the day I moved in it’s been problem after problem I have put in 26 work orders so far. When I first moved in the garbage disposal had a disgusting Odor, the paint on the walls and doors were painted over in spots with a different color there doors had cracks in them, some of the outlets didn’t work, the master door didn’t close or lock. When I complained, they just a wouldn’t come by and do the work so, I had to seek out the company that owned them to put in a complaint. Besides that the complex is old and the electric bill comes out high. Both of the bathrooms in the apartment continuously have issues the always clog or don’t flush we got so tired of calling them cuz both of them would just stop working and each time it takes them over a week to come my fiancé went out and bought new insides for our master and replaced it himself. The walls are so thin you can actually hear what other people are talking about in there homes. The staff is so unorganized, I went in there a few times about my lease renewal situation and every time you go in there one of them will talk to you put your mind at ease then you go in there a month later they didn’t note your account of anything that was discussed it happened 2times before I sat there and made someone note my account. then 2weeks later I went in there to finalize the lease situation and was told something completely different and I told them to look at my account and that it should have been noted and she was like oh yes it is but now the prices have changed I said ok and made her print and sign the docs. The best advice I can give u is stay away or check everything don’t trust them to be honest.
P. s. If u all are wondering why I’m renewing its only temporary until my house is move in ready. I don’t want to move my stuff twice.
I barely ever write reviews and this is probably my 1^st bad review. I just feel people should know what they are getting into before it’s too late.

Some of the worst management I have seen. The dumpster is always full and makes the complex smell awful. The siding could use some pressure washing as well. But don’t bother calling the front office. They NEVER answer the phone. The residents here are real classy too. My roommates sport bike was stolen the first night he had it here. Can’t wait until our lease is up soon so we can leave this disgusting place. Where’s the 0 star button on this thing?
