Decent fish fry. A bit of a throwback in that they serve popovers with your meal. Large bar area. Nice lake views from the dining room.

Bar of my youth! My grandma still frequents this place. I’ve always gotten a kick out of how they call it a «resort.» In this part of Minnesota «resort» means «townie bar.» You ain’t finding beds or bass boat rentals up in this joint.
I have fond memories of the claw machine (I’ve still got piles of cheap stuffed animals from that thing somewhere) and the same giant old jukebox that’s been there since before I was born.
You’re not going to find fancy beers around here. Maybe a Michelob Amber Bock if you’re lucky. That’s pretty darn exotic. Drink your Bud Light or your Jack and Coke and STFU.
The food is good! Really! Home cooking. Salad bar. If you’re lucky to get there when they’ve got chicken and dumplings, hit that up.
