Beautiful place. I only shorted it a star because there weren’t any Koi fish in the pond. I was really looking forward to that.

I have taken my daughter here at least once a week. She gets to experience the beauty of nature in the quiet, peaceful setting. It’s become one of my favorite places to get out of the house with. The English Garden in the back is my favorite. I could sit there for hours and listen to the fountain and birds.

Very pretty! It may earn five stars, but I didn’t have time to see the entire garden and it desperately needs rain. What I did see was very pretty. The volunteers were all nice. Free to enter. Has nice garden sections in areas and a pretty pond.

This place was absolutely gorgeous. One of my favorite things to do in the Spring and early summer is to go to the Botanical Gardens and just walk around and relax. Dubuque’s Botanical Gardens is enormous, so I would plan a whole day here. They have a small house that the turned into a gift shop and café. very cute. You can also sit on their porch and watch the hundreds of birds that flock there to feed. So peaceful. My absolute favorite thing about this garden is the incredible ponds they have. They turned them into waterfalls and bridges. it’s mesmorizing. The have a about 100 Japanese Carp living in the ponds that are just beautiful. you can purchase food at the gift house to feed them also. it’s cute watching the little kids go crazy when the carp pool together as they throw the food into the water. I would definetely add this to your Must Do List if your ever in Dubuque in the Spring or Summer, I’m sure the Fall would be just as beautiful.
