The service is less than average. The overbook the doctors so they make the patients wait a long time. Also trying to push expensive surgery and implants. Patients time is expensive also!!!
The only benefit is location to where we live and work, but we may switch to go elsewhere.

My entire family goes to Waterford Dental and G-​force Orthodontics. Every experience here has been a positive one. Dr Patel is always amazing as well as the super friendly staff. Its reassuring to know I can visit a dentist and not experience any pain. I recommend this dental group to everyone.

For the first time in 40 years, I have matching and unbroken front teeth. I broke my upper front tooth rollerskating as a child and I’ve had numerous crowns over the years. They never matched the shape or color of my other teeth. I spent so many years with my hands in front of my mouth, not smiling and being very insecure. 2 years ago I broke my other front tooth and my dentist at the time told me my insurance wouldn’t pay to fix it. So, I decided to try my son’s dental group. Today when Dr. Patel finished with my teeth and handed me a mirror, I literally broke down in tears. It wasn’t just because of the beautiful dental work, but because of the genuinely caring way I was treated everytime I’ve been in this dental office. I’ve never been made to feel more comfortable both during and after my visits. Knowing that I can call at anytime if I have any problems or questions helped put me at ease. I had the same experience a couple months ago when having an extraction done at Waterford. Their doctors, assitants and entire office staff are some of the nicest people I’ve met. I don’t do a lot of Unilocal reviews, but I can’t keep this place a secret. Seriously, if you need any kind of dental work done, you couldn’t ask for a better group of people than this. Thank you so much for making such a huge difference in my life!

Dr Mital Patel is the greatest dentist I have ever met, I was nervous in the beginning, but he did my filling procedures painlessly and gentle. Wonderful experience with him and everyone in waterfront. Highly recommend him to everyone who needs a perfect dentist!

I’ve been going to Wateford for several years and they have always performed great care. Dr. Chang truly cares about making sure you are taken care of during regular check ups and emergency care. Emergency appointments are always accommodated.

Had my second visit here and Dr. PATEL was great both times. Not only was the staff friendly, they support the military. If stationed near this office, please use, you wont be disappointed. The front desk staff were awesome, as well, which made me comfortable being they are the first encounter. Keep up the great work guys!!!

My family has been coming here for 3 years. We have always been greater with smiles, even when my crown has popped off twice. And I am definitely a fan of Dr. Patel… he knows just how to talk to me so I understand.

I have been visiting this office almost a year now. I have had 2 regular check ups and cleanings, 1 deep cleaning and a few fillings and sealants taken care of. The front office greets you and checks you in immediately. The facility is modern, clean and inviting. I have not had to wait in the waiting room any more than 5 minutes max before being taken back. They build relationships with their patients and you feel like you are with family. I have never felt more relaxed and at home in a dental office as I have have here. Dr Patel is top of the class in my book, he is very kind and gentle as well as confident and knowledgable. You can tell he genuinely cares for his patients.
Another benefit is that the pedantic office is attached 12 year old has had 2 visits and is just as amazing! Give them a visit you won’t regret it!

Really tired of the front office messing up schedules and rescheduling the appts on their own. I am not saying that they are NOT nice in front. It’s when you set ur future appt and agreed on date/​time and then find out that they don’t have you scheduled on agreed date/​time, it’s cumbersome/​irritating.

I had a wonderful experience with this office! The front office has been so friendly and is so knowledgable and always willing to help. I had oral surgery by Dr Lee and he was awesome! He is kind, gentle and very caring. I would recommend this office to everyone:)

I want to give them zero. I feel discriminated by this dental office. You can say that they only be polite & nice to you when you have the $$$$$$. I will not recommend anyone to them in the future. It will only take 2 seconds when you need to pay them BUT IF THEY NEED TO REFUND THE MONEY TO PATIENCE THEY WILL GIVE YOU ANY EXCUSES OR REASONS TO HOLD BACK THE REFUND. SO IF ANYONE WAITING FOR REFUND CHECK FROM THEM? Make sure you call them every week. Staff there talks so sweet but no heart. I am going back to dragon dental. They are the best.

Just had my first visit with Dr Patel and he was AWESOME. I have a fear of the dentist and he made me feel very at ease. I have a lot of work to be done and feel confident in him :)).also his staff is AMAZING. Cindy Nellie Karen margarita you guys rock :)).

I’ve been going to Waterford Dental for two years and I have to say they are some of the nicest people I’ve come across. My wife and two children also visit there and love being seen. I’ve been in from routine teeth and gum maintenance to root canals they have always been gentle and attentive. I know dental work can be expensive but I have great insurance that covers those bills.

I wish I could give them a zero. My family has been coming here for years but this past year or so it’s been nothing short of a nightmare. The front staff do not know what they are doing. They schedule appointments wrong, we got cancelled a few times then rescheduled for months out, etc. billing is always wrong so check with your insurance! Trust me!
I was told I needed a crown. The tooth never bothered me but I went along and had it done. First off they got the wrong tooth when I came in to get the permanent crown. 2 hours of sitting in that chair waiting for them to get it right. And ever since that ridiculousness, my tooth has hurt on a daily basis.
Stick with Dr. Wong at there Newpark location! Save yourself some grief! This place really needs to change their ways or all there patients will end up leaving. They definitely lost us.

Dr. Wong is the best dentist he takes time to explain what you need and answers all your questions.

Billing department is disaster. My son has double insurance, but still end up more than $ 800 bill. I spoke to my dental insurance and I was told this dental office sent wrong claim. But when I called the dental office, they denied it and with bad attitude.

Well, I have been to a lot of dentists and I must say– this is by far the best Dental facility ever! First of all, having everything under one roof (specialists, technology and etc.) is a huge plus. The staff here is fantastic. Friendly, responsive, always on time and very flexible with financing and etc. are all top notch.
Rather than offend anyone by missing their name, the entire staff is extremely friendly and accomdating. My dentist (Dr. Chang) did a remarkable job in getting me to avoid a root canal and I greatly appreciate his candor in telling me exactly what was going on, next steps and what to expect.
All in all– all one could hope for in a dentist’s office.
Thank you all for making what is typically a hassle experience be quite smooth.

We’ve been coming to Waterford Dental for the past 4 years. My babies who are 6 and 7 love coming into this office, in fact they beg to visit the dentist! Both of them have had some work done on their teeth (sorry we’re not perfect) but Dr Lee is simply amazing! He’s very gentle and I would highly recommend his as a pediatric dentist! Staff is always pleasant especially Margaret! She’s always such a huge help! My husband and I also are patients on the adult side. We’ve both had great experiences and I absolutely love Denay she’s so sweet and full of lots information. I will miss this dental office when our time comes to move (we’re a military family) Good dental offices are hard to come by!

All four people in my family went here when we first moved to CA. The place looked great and was very convenient to our home. They had every modern bell, whistle and piece of dental equipment known to man, and boy are they anxious to use it. All but one of us came away saying it was the most painful teeth cleaning we had ever had and everyone ended up with a laundry list of follow up dental procedures to accomplish. My son who hasn’t had a cavity in years supposedly needed 6 filings, I was told I needed four crowns replaced and my wife three. (Our new dentist found only two cavities for my son and said we should just watch all the crowns that they were all fine for now.) My daughter ended up needing three more teeth extracted (she has had almost all her baby teeth pulled: (
I had explained to the dentist that she has already had ten teeth extracted, that she was very afraid now before the procedures even start and that every dentist has always under estimated how hard it would be to extract her teeth. (they are after all JUST baby teeth, so they think). At the beginning the dentist was telling her we will give you a little numbing juice and we will just wiggle those teeth right out and you won’t feel a thing, idiot, well she certainly knew better. I don’t know why dentist tell people that procedures won’t be painful, have they never had their own teeth worked on and getting the novocaine can be the worst part. During the entire time the dentist was trying to act as if he were compassionate, but it was obvious he was not, and once the rubber met the road he was pretty much downright mean to my daughter telling her among many things «come on it doesn’t hurt that much, etc». Then after the first tooth came out surprisingly easy (for us) only a 5 minute tussle, the next tooth the dentist struggled with for ten minutes trying to pry it out (no wait wiggle it out) once it finally came out my daughter was beyond being in tears and he didn’t do the last tooth because it was the hardest one. He suggested she get it out under general anesthesia, well we checked with insurance and they will only pay for anesthesia if the patient is getting three or more teeth removed. So if they would have checked ahead for us, especially when I warned them of her previous experiences and issues, she could have had all those teeth out without going through that procedure, now have have to pay an extra $ 650 that otherwise would have been cover.
Read the reviews, don’t go here unless you like pain.

I have been going to Dr. Wong for close to a decade and wouldn’t trust my teeth with anyone else. He’s an artist when it comes to cosmetic work, anything requiring a fine touch to get things right. I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes to be admitted, the hygienists are experienced and everything is spotless.
Highly recommended.
