I have a gorgeous ring that was my mother’s. It needed cleaning, the prongs fixed and resizing. I was very worried about letting someone else hold it, let alone leaving it at the store. I went to Tam’s shaking with fear when I let Nancy hold it! She calmed me down and was very compassionate. Both she and Debra were so kind and assured me that the ring is in good hands and how they’ve been in business for 25 years now.
I just picked up my ring and I’m so pleased with how it turned out. I’m a very big fan of Tam’s! What a wonderful group that works there.

I went to Tam’s looking for present for my mom. I came home with a beautiful set of diamond solitaire earrings for her! The service was wonderful. She was mindful of my budget and did a nice thing by offering my two sons a lolly pop if they were good. I would totally go back whenever further jewelry needs arise. She gave me such a good deal that I could literally never get anywhere else. My mom is going to be so excited!

This place is great! My family has been coming here for years, my boyfriend just bought my wedding ring there! It’s beautiful and we got an awesome price! The staff was very professional and helpful. I will definitely be going back

Knowledgeable people, I felt like I was soaking in decades of experience by osmosis. I got an engagement ring appraised for insurance purposes, and we got professional service and am happy.
It looks like the low reviews were from people upset about low offers when they tried to sell. We were not trying to sell anything so we have no experience with that.

I needed a custom engagement ring and sent Tam a few ideas. She created an amazing ring that gets compliments everywhere we go. When I brought the ring in to get it insured it actually appraised way above what I payed for it. Love the ring as well as the experience. Ill be back!

Again finding out more issues with jewelry purchased from Frank at Tam’s jewelry. My husband purchased a ladies presidential watch with diamonds in the band and 18k. I am looking into selling it but when I told them the number on the paperwork it doesn’t match. Fortunately the number on the watch is visible and the difference in value is A LOT. I wonder why they were giving me low estimates when I gave them the number of the paperwork that Frank gave my husband with the watch. Word to the wise check, verify all estimates, appraisals and paperwork to make sure they match what you are purchasing. My husband obviously trusted that the paperwork matched and didn’t check and it does not match this watch… Just saying! Very disappointed with these people we trusted them and bought a lot of items from them over the years and this is the 2^nd time that I have encounter and issue, see last review on 5carat diamond he sold me and wanted to give me 10 k when in fact i sold it for 60k. HHHHHMMM big difference.

My family has been going to Tam’s for years and has always been pleased with their work. They designed a beautiful ring for my mother at a very fair price and just recently, they assisted me with my engagement ring and wedding bands. I wanted all 3 bands to be connected and to be spaced in a particular way. They charged an extremely fair price for the materials and resizing of the rings. They worked very quickly since my wedding is right around the corner. When I came to pick it up, I realized it needed to be a bit smaller and I had wanted the spacing to be a little different. They went back to work and in less than a week, produced exactly what I had hoped for. They didn’t even charge me for the additional labor. It was a great experience– they’re fair and do beautiful work! Thanks, Tam’s!

I bought my engagement ring here and it turned out perfect. We showed Tammy and Debbie two ring designs and wanted a hybrid of the two, which they ended up creating a custom design. My fiancée said it turned out even better than what she could have dreamed of for the ring! Thanks!

I went here with my then bf now fiancée to look for my engagement ring together; I didn’t expect to find one here (b/​c I’m really picky) but I ended up finding one that I fell in love with on the spot. One of the staff members named James was patient with us even though it was busy at the time and answered all our questions about the ring and when we could have it made by. I got exactly what I wanted and am completely satisfied! I absolutely love my engagement ring; I’ve gotten so many compliments of how sparkly and pretty is. Thank you Tam’s!

I’ve been doing business with the owners of this establishment for several years now and have never been disappointed! In fact, I have referred many people to Tam’s because of the excellent service and fair prices. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for new purchases, and only trust her with my heirloom pieces for repair and/​or cleaning; including my Tiffany pieces! My only problem is every time I walk into Tam’s, I walk out with a new piece of jewelry!

I was in California visiting family and stopped by Tam’s and found the most beautiful ring. They had such a great selection and really reasonable prices. Places like this are so hard to find here in the Midwest so I really loved it. The lady working there was super helpful also.

My boyfriend and I wanted to design a custom ring (THE ring, I might add :))and went to Tam’s because many of our friends recommended their quality workmanship and staff to us. During our visit, I was impressed by their knowledge and patience as we shared the dream design we had in mind for the ring. Not only did they provide an education on working with diamonds and various metals but they also gave us honest insight on what would work for our design and budget. We LOVED the service, Debbie and Tammy are absolutely fabulous!

I completely agree with Misty J. When I walked in the woman was working with another family who were buying a large carat diamond.
I wanted to see if the gold pens I had were worth anything, and I also had an expensive gold and 1 carat diamond ring to sell.
They offered me $ 36 for the ring. What bullshit.
Also, when the man clerk brought the pens over to the woman for her to check, she said «not interested,» and wouldn’t even check for me.
Bad service, shitty prices. Too bad there isn’t something lower than a 0

Tam’s was recommened to me by my father in law who buys from Tam’s often. We went there to have my engagment ring and band designed and fabricated. My ring is so gorgeous and is very high quality and well made. The deisigner worked with us directly to create what we wanted and made excellent and knowledgable suggestions. I get compliments on it daily! The staff is friendly and helpful, and they have been prompt and fair in all my needs for repairs or cleaning on items. I would recommend! I have also sold them gold on more than one occassion and that pricing was fair as well.

Great place to go for basic things like getting stones tightened and cleaned.

Utter crap. The women here are wenches and they will make such ridiculous offers for your jewelry, it’s ridiculous.
I was looking to sell my engagement ring, and they tried to offer me $ 125 after completely insulting me. I took it over to another place in Livermore and got $ 350 after being complimented on how pretty my ring was.
Not to be a bitch, but screw you, Tam’s.
