A business shows its true colors in dealing with problems. I had a problem with paint application. It just didn’t seem right. I talked to the store manager Enrique and he suggested a couple things to try. I was still not satisfied so Enrique came to my home and investigated the problem. He agreed that there was an issue and that it was with the substrate of my painted surface. He told me from the beginning that Sherwin Williams was about customer service and would take care of my problem. Enrique brought in experts to advise on a possible cure. He even tried a test patch in his store to test the viability of his solution. Once he felt that he had a answer he then came to my home and tried a test patch on my surface. When that proved to be a solution he then applied that process to my entire surface and all this at his expense. Is that customer service or what. I cannot recommend this store high enough and this is where I will buy my paint.

I didn’t think finding a stain color for the top of our farmhouse table would be so difficult. After two hardware stores(Home Depot and OSH both carried Min Wax only) we went here and found the warm grey color I was looking for. Love the color, they mix it just like paint. The employee who sold it to us gave us a discount… much appreciated! Can’t wait for the refreshed color palette… will be perfect with the black legs and skirt, and the grey and white kitchen.

Great place to buy good quality paint! — They sell their own paint as well as other brand names. — Been here 3 times — and every time was quickly greeted within minutes. — Better quality paint here than the big box stores. — paint was made within minutes of ordering… did not have to wait at all. Buys: 2 gallons of paint(1 flat, 1 eggshell) Paint color exactly like the color sample… no complaints. customer service: Awesome! Nathan was very helpful, knowledgable, friendly, patient, and approachable. He answered all my rookie painting questions — explaining to me the difference between flat, low luster, and gloss paints. I left the store each time with more understand about the types offered. Thanks dude! I would recommend buying your paint at this store!

This is a really small, dingy store. A new store is opening near Home Depot on Johnson that will be much brighter and shinier. No matter how the store looks, the staff are awesome. The lovely lady who works there, who has two cocker spaniels(and this I know because she didn’t freak out when I walked in holding my dog, it was too hot to leave her in the car, and she invited me to put the dog down and was very friendly. If she had said no dogs I would have left without complaint because dogs aren’t welcome everywhere, but I appreciated she didn’t mind and was welcoming), was very helpful, gave us some tips on colors and products, and mixed up the samples we needed quickly. I have no complaints. The store is going to be much nicer in the future, but in the end, it’s about the people; the product is all the same at each location but a nicer employee will bring me back there over and over.

Quality paint. Friendly, helpful staff. As first time homeowners 13 years ago, we tried the paint at Home Depot; didn’t last long). We tried the paint from Kelly Moore. Same junk, different label. We tried the Sherwin Williams Duration paint, and while it’s well more expensive per gallon, it’s easily worth it. Where Kelly Moore’s best exterior paint didn’t last an entire year on the wood surfaces that faced the mid-day sun, Duration lasted 9 years before it started to look faded and worn. In the areas that don’t get tons of direct sun, it still looks fine 10 years later. For my money, I’ll happily pay 4−5x per gallon and paint every 9 years instead of every year.

Sherwin Williams has lost my business forever! I have painted two houses with almost all Sherwin-Williams paint. Our first house in San Diego and our second house in New Jersey. Both locations were really helpful and I was able to color match and find the perfect solutions. So it was only natural I would go to Sherwin-Williams again when painting our house here in Danville. I walked in at 11:30 on a Friday morning. I was the only person in the store. I saw the girl behind the counter and could tell right away, that this was not going to be a great visit. This girl looked pissed off, bored, and definitely NOT interested in helping. So I turn on my most cheerful voice, say«Hiiii» while walking up with the pillow from my daughter’s bed. You see, she wants to paint her room hot pink and lime green… and well I’m all for expressing yourself but I would prefer not to want to gouge my eyes out every time I step into her room, all of this I relayed to the sour puss behind the counter. She lets out a loud sigh and says, «well I can show you were our colors are. But what we have is what we have. You just have to hold it up and see if you like it.» I’m not blind… i can see the giant color display, I was hoping for some help and opinions… but it was obvious I wasn’t going to get it. So she pointed me to the colors, walked back behind the desk with her disgusted look and continued to ignore me. I then asked if I could get sample sizes and she said, «ya, but it’s our cheap nasty primer paint, so it’s not good quality so it’s only $ 5»…uhhh…I’d kind of like to know how this is going to look on the walls… i don’t want«cheap nasty primer paint» that been colored!!! I then ask her if she thinks there is a lighting in the store I should use to get a true idea of the color and she replies, «All our lighting sucks» and walks away. I mean, she was just not going to help me, no matter how hard I tried. So I just left… and drove straight to Benjamin Moore in Danville where I had an excellent experience. This girl completely drove me out of Sherwin-Williams into the arms of Benjamin Moore and now I’m never coming back.
