We moved into a home last summer in which the garage doors needed updated. Scott was one of the vendors we were reviewing. He came out and gave us some great options at a reasonable price. I really appreciate the fact that he listened to what we wanted. Some vendors will steer you into more expensive options that do not really affect the outcome of your goal. They just want to make more money. Scott does not operate this way. He gave us exactly what we wanted and needed.
The installation went flawlessly. The installer gave us some tips on keeping the garage doors maintained. We’ve had them for about 8 months now. They look and work great. Really good quality product, great service, and an affordable price.

On the Saturday after Thanksgiving, my coil broke on my garage door. I could not put the door on manual. My son in law was trying to help me but the door was too heavy to lift. I called Scott who was having his Thanksgiving with his family. He was willing to come that night but my husband said we can not take him away from his family. He was there the next day exactly at the time promised and quickly fixed it. We had used him once before and will use him again. Thanks again for the great service.

1st off let me start off by saying our new garage door looks & works amazing. Scott was awesome, he came out and had us fixed up in no time.
Like most of you out there in need of a new garage door just save yourself the time and hassle and just call. In all honesty I was going to try to save some bucks and do it myself but realized how DANGEROUS it is, if you don’t know what you’re really doing. Even if you think you know what your doing there are to many variables involved to get it right. Did I mention how DANGEROUS it is?

I called Scott because I had many good references that have used him in the past. My garage door opener brackets broke and it came detached from the ceiling slightly damaging the garage door. He was able to replace the brackets and fix the dented door within an hour. He was very courteous and understanding. He was able to come the same day I called him and worked the visit into my schedule. I would use Shamrock again without question.

Spring broke and needed help asap. Called Shamrock Overhead Door late Monday, Scott came out a 9:00 the next morning. I have had 3 springs break since we’ve been the house. We only had one on our door and was told by 2 others we cannot improve that. Scott replaced the spring and added another very quickly. 30 minutes to repair and price was much less than I expected. Very professional and have already recommended to others.

My 20yo door had seen better days. Painting my house was just the excuse I needed to get it replaced. I got a tip from a contractor friend to try Shamrock Overhead Doors. I’m glad I did. While I was visiting in Columbus, Ohio, my daughter’s garage door tension spring broke today. Found Shamrock Overhead Door on-​line and called them. Everything on their website was 100% flat-​out the truth. Scott’s wife took the call — Scott came to do the repair in a timely manner — called 30 mins before he would arrive so we could be ready — charged a fair price — Scott left the work area as clean as he found it and also adjusted the door to operate smoothly. He did not try to sell us anything we did not need and was extremely polite. I would recommend him to anyone who needs garage door work. Plus, quite frankly, he seems to just be a really easy guy to deal with.

Scott availed himself to assess an emergency garage door replacement within 20 minutes of me calling after 5pm. I presented a challenge — needed a new door installed the next day due to vacation plans. He arranged for an installer to come out the next morning and replace with a brand new door in the color I needed. Fast, friendly, and a competitive price. When my garage door opener broke, I steeled myself for the worst. 2012 was the year of everything in my 7-​year-​old house breaking. (insert grumbling about Dominion here) After investigating and seeing that it wasn’t going to be a simple fix I could do myself, I had resigned myself to the fact that there was probably a new garage door opener in my future.
I called and was able to quickly get an appointment with Shamrock. As we discussed my problem over the phone, he presented several options for new openers, then took a step back and asked why I was replacing it. When I explained what had broken, he said, «Oh, you don’t need a new opener if you don’t want one. We can fix that!»
That honesty meant everything to me. My final bill could’ve been 3.5x higher if they had installed the new opener, and I would’ve been none the wiser.
As a bonus, the tech even lubed up all of my door hinges on my very creaky door, which is now in super stealth mode.
