History

Established in 1993.

Retirement Strategies is an independent, fee-​based Registered Investment Advisory Firm. With more than 90 years of combined experience in the financial services industry, our team of professionals specializes in working with you to create an environment of trust. We take the time to get to know you and to educate you on your available financial options. We empower you to do what you want to do, not what you have to do, today, and especially in your retirement years.

Meet the Business Owner

Jerry S.

Business Owner

Jerry is the founding partner of Retirement Strategies, Ltd. In addition to client service and account management responsibilities he coordinates our risk management services with particular knowledge and expertise in developing long term care strategies as well as eldercare services. He also serves on the board of Central Ohio Professional Education Council (COPEC), a 501©(3) non-​profit education organization.

Jerry graduated from Ohio University with a B.S. degree in communications and a Minor in Business Administration. He later earned his MBA with emphasis in personal finance from Xavier University. Over the course of his career, Jerry has attained his Certified Financial Planning (CFP®) designation and maintains active membership in the Financial Planning Association (FPA).
