Midas / SpeeDee Oil Change

Quite bad experiences today.
I spent hundred of dollars replacing the RIGHT axis based on their advices. But right after right axis replacement, I heard strong clicking/​collision noises every time I make a left turn. Then I asked them to check when I went to do the oil change. It was so obvious that the RIGHT sway bar, right next to the replaced axis, is broken. Of course there is a chance that this is a coincidence that the RIGHT sway bar break itself right after they replace the RIGHT axis, but the chance is only 5%!?

I cannot believe the manager and the technician just denied that they breaking it and told me that it is not their fault. Come on guys, you made the mistake (it happens and acceptable), you should be then responsible and fix it for your customers. Otherwise, nobody will come for a second time due to your irresponsibility.

Manny is always courteous and always helpful. Needed to have a tire repaired and he advised on options as they didn’t have replacement in stock. Always fast and fair.

I’ve come here to get my brakes and oil changes before. This place is pretty solid and trustworthy.
Not to mention the lifetime replacement guarantee on brake shoes and pads. Only have to pay for the labor which is reasonable priced.
Just be prepared to wait for awhile when brining in for any type of service!

This was my first time at this Midas location to get a oil change for my car. Upon walking into their premises I was Greeted in a welcoming manner!:D
I would like to appreciate «Manny» for his professional yet fun-​persona vibe! :) I had previous serviced many of my cars in the past at a well known mall auto store and I have to Say .this was a breath of fresh air.
Will diffently be back to this location when I’m in Dublin.

Ryan and Mo are fantastic! I receive great customer service each and every time I come to this location. Ryan, Mo, and the team are extremely knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. It feels good to know that my car is in good hands. They are great at what they do and always seem do things right the first time. I’ve never had any problems and will continue to do my business at Dublin Midas .

on Friday the 16^th I took my vehicle in to have inspection on my Muffler and pipes my intention was to get the Muffler changed so they put my vehicle on the rack was no problem changing the Muffler so they proceeded to give me an estimate of what it would cost and the cost to have Muffler change and labor they wanted to charge me $ 261.00 and I thought that was outrageous not only are the overpriced there a rip off. I have my Muffler and my pipes on my vehicle changed and purrs like a kitten for $ 245.00 at Mission Muffler and Brakes in Hayward they are the best reasonable priced an outstanding job so if you want to get ripped off go to the Midas muffler if you want to save some money as I said go to Mission Muffler and Brakes they will take good care of you.

I’m one of those guys who holds off on oil changes until the last moment and procrastinates about it, because I don’t look forward to the process. Pay some guys to take your car and lube it up while you wait for what could be more than an hour, then get hawked for parts and repairs after that. Doesn’t sound very appealing, right? Well, the cynic in me was proven wrong.
I came in to this specific location at about 4 on a Friday, because I had a coupon for 10 $ off the normal oil change price. One of the employees caught me walking up to the front, and held the door open. Definitely a gesture that helped set a positive tone. Inside was moderately busy, one person in front of me, a few people waiting, nothing crazy. After just a few minutes, I was at the counter talking to the man there about getting an oil change, and presented my coupon. Total came out to about 30 $, not bad. He told me he’d get to work and that it would be around a half hour. Pretty good estimation, especially considering how long I’ve heard others complain about having to wait. «Maybe getting my oil changed isn’t going to suck today, after all», I’m thinking. Cynicism fading…
Well, I waste some time at a place nearby (which I regretted more than immensely, as you can read in my Runzo’s review) before I came back just 20 minutes later. I was ready to sit and wait in their designated sit and wait area, until I noticed they had already attended to my car. I was genuinely surprised at the speediness of their work, and impressed. I didn’t catch any names of the guys working there, but they deserve a shout out from me for making my life a lot easier, and helping destroy my preconceptions. Also, there was none of the hassle you often hear about, to get a new this, or new that. The guy at the counter told me about my axel rods (which I have been wanting to have fixed for a while), and said if I wanted it done, they’d help. That’s all. No pressure. Done right.
Overall, this experience was great. I couldn’t ask for it to have gone better. This crew should treat themselves to some steaks and beers.

Slow and forgot to put parts back on my vehicle.
I went to Midas to get a simple oil change and tire rotation for my full-​size SUV. The whole process took approximately an hour and a half, which could have been cut in half if the employees weren’t standing around and talking for approximately 30 to 40 minutes of that time. I would periodically look into the garage, while waiting, and would observe four to five employees standing around talking and joking not doing any work. I am all off for a fun work environment, but the work needs to get done at the same time.
Furthermore, while observing the employees working on my car, my tire, quite literally, rolled out of the garage towards the main road. An employee had to go running after it prior to it getting to the street. With all of this in mind I paid approximately $ 90 for an oil change and free tire rotation.
I was later contacted by Midas who informed me that they forgot to return, and put back on, the Lugnuts covers on one of my tires after they conducted the tire rotation. I responded back to Midas, picked up the Lugnut covers, and put them on myself.
Based on the poor attention to detail and lack of work ethic displayed during my interaction at this business, I will not be returning for service.

I have no choice but do change my review to 3 stars. Since my original review, I have taken my cars for oil changes and have been pleased, until last week. I noticed cracks in my drive belt so I took it in. 30 minutes after dropping it off, the employee called and said the car doesn’t start, they ran a test and determined the starter needed to be replaced. This would bring additional $ 450 to bill. I was confused because the car started up in order for me to get there in the first place. Anyway, I didn’t want to accuse them of anything because it could be just a coincidence.

Fantastic customer service. Pulled in here because the hubby’s car was making a funky noise and then died in there parking lot. Even though it’s a holiday weekend and they close in less than an hour they took great care of us and the car! Wonderful people!!!

Midas. Like the king, these guys are golden in terms of service. Yes, you pay more. But there’s a difference between value and ripoff. My car needed a brake job and oil change. Not only was it done well, but done well in terms of my time. Got a ride to and from work too. Next time I’m in need, Midas will be my choice.

Come here every time to get my oil changed. Chris has helped me out the past two times, knows a lot about cars (especially my prius). Definitely recommend this place! And him. He’s the best

I put one star because I don’t have chance put zero! Two days ago I went to this place to change oil, when they back the car to me, I didn’t check my car because I trust them! but when I back home I found my velometer has been stolen .I called them, they answered me will check it .Next day I back this place, they said nobody did it… some words heard like I framed them! No choice I called 911 ! The police perform some procedures and told me they had no fault because I already signed the paperwork…
I can’t do anything for it, I felt so bad !
Just want tell everybody be careful when you get car back, check everything and make sure everything! otherwise the police also can’t help you !

I got my brakes done here and they called and quoted me a price for front and rear brake pads and rotor resurfacing. My husband wanted the rotors replaced so we asked how much that would be and then we agreed to the replacement at a higher cost. When I picked up my car I found out they had just resurfaced the rotors but charged me the higher price anyway. They ripped me off for $ 150 bucks by doing the original work at a higher price. And when I pointed it out they were very RUDE to me. I will never go here again!

Just went to get the B12 service for my wife’s 2011 Honda Accord and was worried I needed brakes too. The guys did the oil change, checked my air filters and Brakes. The Said I didn’t brakes and air filters were good as well. The dealership and and Most other places would have hit me with all new filters and Brakes!!!
I made an appointment and was in and out in ½ hour! I really appreciate their Honesty and not replacing things that don’t need it! Thanks again to Ryan and the crew!

So far I have been very pleased with the service I have received when taking my car to get my oil changed.
It has been very quick and they check up and make sure my car is running in good order.

I like honest and that’s what supervisor Mo gave me a real connecting that he really means. Thanks for helping my car get new struts.

I figured I’d update my review since it’s been almost a year & half since my first review :)
I have gone back here multiple times after my first review.
For regular oil changes & for what seems to be my endless need for tires (don’t worry, I’ve taken about 3 cars here so that’s the reason why)
I always drop my car in the morning & just leave it for the day while I work, which is always super convenient! They have a shuttle available if it’s not already out, FYI!
One of the employees, Herman, is always there to greet me with a smile & knows me by name. Don’t know if that’s a good thing or a bad thing when your car guy knows you right off the bat but HEY, I’ll take it! lol. All their employees are very friendly & forthcoming about work being done on your car. A rarity in this industry, I am just sayin’
They take care of me each time I am there & I have never had any problems :)

Every time I need a fix for my car, whether it’s an oil change, broken tail light, or even a tire rotation it’s a no brainer where I’ll be headed;Midas. Not only is the customer service beyond excellent but the quality of the work being done is superb. The workers are always kind and quick to tell jokes! Which always makes a difference between my choice of car repairs/​oil changers.
The set up of their waiting room is a comfortable and entertaining atmosphere that makes the waiting time go by a lot quicker! From magazines to the interesting tv show they have on, it’s a nice little gesture for us customers! They even have a station for making warm Drinks while you wait!
