Nicholas Boer, (food critic) of the Contra Costa Times said McNamara’s is the Best Steakhouse to open in the East Bay in a decade.

The feeling you get is like something you would find in Chicago, a city known for it’s steakhouses.

History

Established in 2001.

McNamara’s was developed by Vince McNamara and Doug Garcia. Both have been in the steakhouse business for the past 33 years. The restaurant has a very warm feeling with fireplaces and rich mahogony wood. The design of the restaurant was done to feel like a downtown restaurant in a city such as San Francisco, Chicago or New York.
