Specialties

This new, spacious and state of the art campus is open to children ages 2 to 6 years of age offers a year-​round Montessori program. This campus offers 5 beautiful classrooms filled with sequenced and high quality Montessori material which allows for endless learning opportunities. This campus was designed with ample amount of space in mind, so that children can freely move around and explore all the Montessori material. Extended windows in each preschool classroom provide a myriad of natural light to enhance the academic and developmental environment. The playground near the back of the school is fully gated and offers a safe environment for children to play and learn.

Highly trained and qualified teachers with accredited Montessori and early childhood education credentials guide students on an exciting journey of learning and self-​discovery. Our staff provides highest quality standards in early childhood development by providing each child with new challenges, introducing new lessons and then letting the children practice what they have learned. As children grow, teachers expand the classroom material in order to allow the children to further explore.

Established in 2008.

Learn and Play Montessori School’s first location in Fremont opened in 2008. There are currently four beautiful campuses of Learn and Play Montessori School in Fremont and one in Dublin/​San Ramon.

Miss Neeraja is the Site Supervisor/​Director at Learn and Play Montessori School’s Dublin Campus. She has over 14 years of Montessori teaching experience. She has worked both as a fully qualified teacher and as a Director for children ages 2 to 6 years.

Miss Neeraja is mother of two and loves working with children.

This school has been wonderful. my daughter was going to this school since she is 2. Most of the teachers are wonderful to work with. right now she is in room 3 she is learning a lot. She comes home signing a new song every day. I observed that most of the kids in the class do the same .All the teachers in the class are very accommodating. Director Ms neeraja and all the staff have been extremely helpful.

My daughter has been going to this place since Sep 2015 and she loves everything about it. She got over her separation anxiety very soon and now wants to go to school even on weekends. She comes home learning something new everyday. Clean and safe place. Amazing staff. I cannot be more happier. I would gladly recommend Learn and play Montessori school to everyone.

Our 2 kids have been coming here for 7 months now. We love the homely atmosphere. And how all the teachers know all the students by name. It makes you feel like you’re part of a big family.
Their program and structure provides a conducive atmosphere for learning. Kids are encouraged to be independent and have discipline to choose their work and finish them, respectively.
The tuition is very reasonable. Kids get morning and afternoon snacks along with lunch. They provide vegetarian and non-​vegetarian options. We are not vegetarians. But I like how our kids have learned to eat veggie salad.
I hope they eventually have a Chinese language introduced to their program. I would love our kids to learn Mandarin as a second language.

We love this school. Our daughter has been going there since she was 2 yrs old, which is shortly after this location opened. The teachers are very passionate about teaching and interacting with kids. They clearly put in a lot of effort to keep the kids engaged and interested. Our daughter has learnt a lot in the 2 years she has been there and loves going there everyday. Overall the staff is very pleasant and nice to interact with. Overall and very good facility and we would gladly recommend this to anyone considering sending their toddlers and preschoolers to Learn and Play Montessori in Dublin.

This school is more of a daycare than preschool. My 3 year old kid was there for nearly one year. He was not potty trained so he was kept in the same class with infants and toddlers. They never gave any type of diaper training. When asked they said they wouldn’t pressurize the kids. My kid is now going to a different school and is now picking up fast. Teachers here seem to be unhappy and my kid saw 4 teachers in one year. Bottom line — if your kid is not
diaper trained, this is not the school for you.

The Learn and Play Montessori School in Dublin is awesome. My daughter is 3 ½ and has been attending the school since September of last year. The school has well trained teachers who are hands on and work enthusiastically with the children. The director of the school, Ms Neeraja makes herself readily available if you need to speak with her and she encourages feedback from the parents on improvements. The school is kept very clean and they serve nutritious food to the children. My daughter is always excited and happy when being dropped off.

I’m so glad I found this preschool, my daughter loves her teacher and her school, she learns a lot, from the first week she came back home singing and excited about all the new things she learned, the school is very clean and I feel safe leaving my daughter in a safe school like this. What can I say about Learn and Play Montessori School… AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING!
My daughter started the program less than a year ago and I am astonished with the progress she has made. She started at age 3 and it only took a few days to settle in. The teachers are incredibly enthusiastic and give her as much attention (if not more) than I would provide. In particular, they listen and provide feedback very well.
One of my concerns with day care, in general, is the ability of one teacher to look after a number of children and meet their needs (feeding, potty trips, etc.). The teachers at this center are very efficient while still being caring and attentive to each child. Anytime I let the team know about something, they are on it! I know my daughter’s needs are met. Having that open communication, genuine care, and respect for my child is very important.
It is invaluable to see my daughter flourish, academically and socially, in such a short period of time. She loves to talk about her teacher, Ms. Sara, and all her friends. We have been away on vacation for a few weeks and she frequently asks when she will start school again.
There are many top rated child care centers in Walnut Creek, where I live. But, I drive 15 miles to drop my daughter off where she will learn, grow and, most importantly, be happy.

I love this preschool… My four year old went to the Peralta center for about a year and I was very happy with them so when we moved to Pleasanton I was delighted to find out they had a center in Dublin. The teachers are wonderful, caring and very open and communicative. Once I needed to talk to them about phonics and Ms Mina went one step ahead and led me through the enire phonics program and approach! All the other teachers have also been extremely helpful. The director Ms Kiran is so very approachable and flexible… very nice and easy to work with… takes feedback constructively, which is a huge thing :)
Clean and organised center, parking is always easy… as of now at least!
The Peralta center organized a lot of activities during Christmas and Halloween and I am hoping Dubin will follow lead as well
All in all I am really pleased and happy I chose Learn and PLay… my son iis happy and content there! Touchwood!

Before we moved to South Bay due to work commute reasons, our 3 and 4yr old attended this Montessori school. We couldn’t ask for a better primary learning experience for our children. We were particularly impressed by the quality of teachers, which made a phenomenal impact on early childhood development of our kids. The amount of effort and contribution by the administrative staff is also commendable, upholding the highest standards of Montessori environment. I’ve been aware of Montessori philosophy since long time as I observed other kids in the family attending various Montessori schools over the years, but this particular facility appears to have made a substantial leap forward in executing Montessori approach.

We recently enrolled our kid in this daycare. The facilities look good. But, the teachers and management don’t do their jobs. Bottom line is: profit oriented franchisee owner who doesn’t show up at the center, so the staff are careless and kids are unruly.
Pros:
1. My kid now sings some new song everyday after coming home. So, that’s nice thing that the teachers here do on a regular basis.
2) Convenient location with ample parking for dropping and picking up kids.
3) Big class room
Cons:
1) When I go pick up my kid later in the evening, there is only one teacher that is shuffling between two classes. Meanwhile the kids are wild and unruly. Kids were throwing their shoes and other stuff with nobody to watch them closely.
2) They let kids hit/​bully other kids. (Can’t blame the kids since they are not being watched or monitored at all).
3) Sometimes my kid runs outside of the class and stands at the outside door without any supervision which indicates they don’t lock kids’ classroom doors. Child safety, anyone?
4) Any feedback given, the teachers take it personally. This shows lack of professionalism.
If you want to just give away your money without any value being added, I highly recommend this center. This school should be named like ‘Wild Wild West School’. If you don’t agree with me, just do random checks and you would find out the truth.
I hope they improve their service after reading this review so that it would be beneficial to other parents who can’t leave this school for some reasons.
