Classy Nails

I just found one of the Best places to have my nails done. They rescued my ripping nail, and Alexis gave me one of the best hand and arm massages I’ve ever had during a manicure. Even though I didn’t win the lottery, I have beautiful golden nails :-) yes yes yes! You should come here.

Everything here is great! Staff is very helpful and friendly and the salon itself is very relaxing. Thanks for an awesome pedicure :) :) I found my nail spot, that’s for sure!

I’ve had my nails done at Classy several times and each shellac manicure lasts me a little more than 3 weeks. My polish is still looking good at 3 weeks, I only go in then because they have grown out & I need a trim & balance.
I have always gone on my lunch hour & have gotten in & out with a little time left to grab something to take back to my desk.
The staff is always very friendly & gives me exactly what I ask for (though I only get a french manicure). :)
I think the prices are fair with the area.
I love it here & won’t be switching anytime soon.

I have been happy with the quality of my nails the 5 – 6 times I have been there. Although, I wish they weren’t as aggressive in up-​selling clients. They always suggest gel nails, more than once. Last time I got an acrylic set I had to turn down gel nails 3x. Ok, ask once, then drop it. Then, I was later asked about eye brow waxing. Ok, but, no thank you I said. Then when I was cashing out, I inquired to my male nail tech why it was a few more dollars than the posted price. He informed me he used the «solar»,? «it was better», he said. Ok, I never asked for this upgrade, and I was never offered the choice of this upgrade, so why? He did not take it off the bill, and I paid, but it made me really mad the more I thought about it. I am pretty disappointed because Long and their staff do a good job but I hate being asked multiple times about an upgrade that I don’t want.

I enjoyed my experience at Classy Nail. The staff was very friendly, and accommodating. The atmosphere was pleasent. I would highly recommend this establishment for your spa needs!

I have been going to Classy Nails for some time now and have always enjoyed my experience. Here are just a few instances of the impeccable service they provide:
Every customer is greeted with a warm «hello» and «how may we help you.» There is nothing worse than going to a place of business and being ignored — waiting for someone to at least acknowledge your presence. This does not happen here. Come once, and you are greeted by name every time after.
Customers are never rushed. I’m a people watcher and often watch the technicians while they work. Each technician, and especially the owners, make every effort to see that you enjoy your visit. No cattle herding in and out — you actually get to enjoy your time there — and if you are in a hurry they have express services too.
All the technicians know their craft. Some salons you are at the mercy of the skill of one or two technicians that you can assure know their stuff — the others may be iffy or you just plain know to steer clear. I have received services from several of the technicians — all excellent.
Super duper clean. Nothing run down, all stations kept clear of clutter and very neat and tidy. I am somewhat of a germaphobe and watch to see if they thoroughly clean and disinfect their pedicure chairs — they do after every use and don’t rush it either.
My manicures last. a. long. time. — I get gel polish and acrylic and I beat the heck out of them. I have planted flowers, washed and groomed dogs, typed non stop, you name it and I have not had any separation of acrylic from my nail, and unless I am especially brutal, not even a chip or break. The acrylic is always even and not unsightly thick and polished to perfection.
You get what you pay for. I have read some of the reviews about price. Classy nails is not a cheap outfit but not the most expensive either. I want beautiful long-​lasting nails, warm and friendly service and a relaxed enjoyable visit. That’s what I get — every time — to me, well worth every dime.

Terrible. I called and made an appointment ahead of time for myself and seven friends and inquired about the prices due to the fact that they are not listed online. Over the phone I was quoted for a gel mani and pedi, it was an $ 80. I inquired about designs and about the cost of the design because I wanted to ensure that I had money planned for it and they assured me that it would be $ 80 plus tax.
Fast forward to the day of, we had an appointment at 10am and everyone seemed very nice when we walked in the door. We were taken back to the pedi chairs and sat down to look at colors. Then we told them the design that we wanted and showed them pictures on pintrest. The first design we choose they couldn’t do because it was too challenging, then we picked a second design and they couldn’t do that either. We did this at least four times, nothing that we choose they could do. Including a simple two colors on the nail ombré design. We actually had one design that we had a whole instruction page for and they still couldnt replicate it. Then when it was time to do our nails they took a long time to sit us down and actually start. Next they only had one thing of nail polish for each color so they couldn’t keep track of it while they were doing all of our nails. Then when all was said and done the nail polish they put on didn’t even cover the whole nail! One of the girls actually had to get her nails painted and repainted 4 times because they left at least a quarter of an inch unpainted on each nail, and painted the skin around/didn’t clean the skin up
In total we didn’t leave the salon until 1:40pm, nearly four hours! Then we went up to the counter and they wanted to charge us over $ 130 each! After I had specifically asked on the phone how much they charged and was told $ 80. When I told them I was quoted $ 80 they told me that was not how things worked and that their prices where on the wall. I told them that their prices are not online and that I had asked on the phone what the prices were and had been told that the prices where $ 80 for everything. They got angry, which upset me and made me angry which I then raised my voice and told them that’s not what I was quoted again. Then, the woman owner told me that I should know better that every nail salon is the same when it comes to pricing and requested that I calm down. So I lowered my voice and made sure to be respectful from this point on and requested that she do the same. She would not, she kept yelling about how I was stupid for expecting services for free, to which I told her I was not expecting them for free and that I would gladly pay $ 80, what I had been quoted, but that I would not pay $ 130. She then went back to go speak with customers about how bad and rude I was being and proceeded to continue to make me wait an additional 20 minutes making jokes about me to the other customers before she came up to begin giving me the $ 80 fee. It was then that the male owner proceeded to tell me I didn’t know how to do math and that he felt sorry for whoever I am getting married to. It was then that the rest of the nail clerks began verbally berating me and attempting to make me feel like I had created a scene when I only wanted the correct price. It was humiliating and completely unprofessional. The point is do not quote someone a price if it can change. Rather than say it will be $ 80, tell them that it will be anywhere from $ 80 to $ 130 that way they can plan. Because I don’t believe anyone in their right mind would pay $ 130 for NAIL POLISH not including tip!
The important part of this review is that they are not talented enough to do simple nail designs (even if presented with an instruction page), and will make what should be a hour event turn into 4 hours. They are also incredibly disrespectful, unprofessional, and will attempt to take advantage of you. So if you use them for important events, plan for whole day of nails, prepair for an unlimited budget, and get ready to be disrespected.

This has been my go-​to nail salon for months now. There are always a lot of technicians working, huge shop, and fast service– great for a group of people. However, today I walked in, got my gel manicure as I do bi-​weekly, and found out at the register that they raised their prices. Not happy, and not worth it knowing there are 2 salons inside Tuttle Mall and 1 across from the mall that are absolutely cheaper. I have also gone in with complaints several times with nails chipping or discoloration and they always charged me full price all over again, no apologies. Looking back, not sure why I bit my tongue each time. For an owner with a Ferrari, maybe it’s time to think about your customers pockets instead of your own.

They always do a great job. I get a gel manicure and sometimes a pedicure. Just too expensive!

I ran in yesterday on my lunch break for a quick mani. This was my 4^th or 5^th time in. They are always fast & friendly. For a walk in nail salon this is one of the nicer ones — very clean. And they have tons of gel colors to choose from. I’ll definitely be back!

Went on the review of a friend — scheduled three pedicures for my mom, sister and I for a late Mother’s Day gift for my mom. They fit us in day-​of on a Saturday, which was great — there’s a benefit to having so many pedi chairs!
Overall, the experience was just okay. The chairs were comfortable, and the staff was pleasant. As other reviews have stated, they were rather rough. When the girl was doing my rough skin with the cheese grater thing, she cut my foot — which I didn’t notice until later when it was bleeding. Our polishes were merely okay. Honestly, I can do a better job polishing my own toes than they did on us. She didn’t file my nails at all — merely cutting them into shape and leaving them. I’m not sure if it was because we were last appointment for the day or what, but in my opinion, the entire polish job was simply adequate.
The reason for my low rating is the cleanliness factor of the salon. I did not find them to be very clean. I didn’t see anything come out of an autoclave or any kind of solution for that matter — rather they just pulled out a tackle box full of equipment that had been used on other guests. Another guest even made a comment at the drier that she had «caught them not sanitizing before». As a result of this, two of the three of us now have infected toes, which is a huge pain to deal with, and is quite frankly just gross.
On that factor alone, we will not be back. While I realize a salon like Charles Penzone or Kenneth’s cost more, you really do get what you pay for. And what I pay for is not to get toe fungus.

I will never go to another nail salon in Columbus! They were fast and friendly, actually held a conversation with me the entire time, instead of only speaking to other employees! Their prices are fair and the place is very clean and organized!

My friend booked pedicure appointments for us on a Saturday a Saturday morning. We grabbed our polishes and headed for the chairs. My friend’s water was scalding hot and the tech immediately cooled down the water. Mine was at a perfect temperature but was cold by the end of the service.
During the portion where they scrub off the dead skin and cut the cuticles, my tech dug the cuticle trimmers into my cuticle bed a number of times. I told her that it hurt and flinched a few times. I had also informed her that my index toenail was very sensitive and grew funny because of my running shoes. It tends to rub against the shoes unless it is filed down. She filed it down somewhat and then proceeded to cut my cuticle very roughly, stabbing me with the extremely sharp trimmer. My toe was throbbing the remainder of the day. When she stabbed me, I exclaimed, «ow! That hurt!» It took her a minute to stop. I have never had such a rough experience.
The rest of the pedicure went ok. When asked, my friend said she wanted the basic pedicure. My tech never asked me so I received the basic. I was hoping for a n excellent foot rub after a grueling morning workout.
She was very nice after she realized she hurt me, but I think shied away from interacting with me too much. By no means, was I harsh or rude to her. She did a great job on my polish and removing the dead skin.
I doubt I will return. My experience was ok but nothing worth returning for.

I just received my 2^nd nail fill here. My nails have never looked better and it only took 30 minutes! I’ve had a different nail tech each time I’ve been here and my nails look equally nice. The price is very reasonable. The staff seems happy and fun to be around. They love their jobs! They make «getting your nails done» an enjoyable experience!

I’ve been here a few times in a pinch when I could not get into my regular place and it gets the job done. All the nail techs have been friendly to me and do a good job, so I really can’t complain; my mother goes here regularly and is always happy. Prices are pretty reasonable and there is not much of a wait if you do not come in during the week before 3. I will return mostly due to the proximity and price.

I’ve been coming here for years and I was lucky enough that I lived close and found this place by chance.
Once you become a regular they treat you like family, remember your name and stories about your family, etc.
If you like Solar Nails or pink and white, come here.
They use the good stuff — CND powder.
Try to make an appointment versus walking in as they are usually always busy.
Easy parking, reasonable prices, friendly service.
