LOVE this place! The staff is always super helpful and friendly. TIFFINIE especially went above and beyond to help me one evening when I arrived late and Expedia had never reserved my room. She was understanding and helped me get into a room on very short notice. The breakfast is great, they offer a lot of items including fresh fruit. The hotel is always kept clean and the rooms are put together perfectly. We are new to the area and used this hotel for multiple stays while we were purchasing our new home. We will certainly recommend this hotel to our family and friends coming into the area to visit.

Nice location to wineries. Manager bent over backwards to get us the best rates! Absolute best breakfast I have ever had. Beds are comfortable. TV was a little funky because it went bonkers and I had to pull the desk away to unplug it. The desk sent up help and they did with the programming. The menu would not show a list of channels and what was playing. My wife was disappointed that they did not have the British channel. All in all a good stay for the price!

This is my second time at this hotel and both visits more than 2 nights. Rooms are comfortable and with all the amenities you expect (fridge, iron, coffee maker etc). Lobby is good for meeting in if you are with multiple guests or need to sit and chat with someone local.
But here’s my favorite part of this hotel… the breakfast. Holy cow!!! I love breakfast and this place is nirvana in the grand scheme of complimentary hotel breakfasts. I usually do not expand much out of the fruit section — about 7 – 9 different varieties of fresh fruit, not just a couple of bananas and some canned pears in a bowl. The hot breakfast has eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, hash browns, waffles and probably something else I didn’t notice. There are bundt coffee cakes, not little sad muffins and various other bagels, toast etc.

We chose this Sleep Inn because of it’s convenient proximity to Camp Lucy and we were not disappointed.
This is an exceptionally clean facility. Our room was immaculate … so much so, my felt wife compelled to leave the housekeeper a tip! The beds were comfortable, the carpeting was clean, the bath was spotless. Our room came with a small microwave, a mini-​fridge, iron, hair dryer and flat screen tv. The property offers free wifi; and while not blazingly fast, it provided a strong signal and we were able to access the Internet without any problems.
The raves you’ve read about the breakfast buffet are well deserved. This was an exceptional benefit for guests. Eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns and waffles (make your own) are part of the hot side. Then, there’s the toast, muffins, pastries, and bagels, with all kinds of jams to choose from. The fruit bar was amazing. Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, melons, kiwi, pineapple, mango and so on. Oh, and for good measure, there’s yogurt, cereal and a fruit juice dispenser. The coffee was very good, too.
So, why not five star? A few reasons.
1) As noted in another review, Tiffany is not really well suited to be a receptionist. She did not greet us with a smile and seemed genuinely annoyed when my wife asked if pillows were foam or feather. The manager indicated in his response to the reviewer he would speak to Tiffany about her attitude. I don’t think she got the message.
2) The hotels says it’s «pet friendly». At $ 100 a night (not per stay) I don’t see how they can claim to be «friendly». I understand a pet fee; perhaps by the size of the pet, but $ 100 is out of line.
3) There is only one elevator for the three floors. On several occasions we shared our elevator with housekeeping carts and luggage racks. On other occasions, we had to wait an inordinate amount of time for the elevator to reach the ground level.
4) We were not offered a copy of our receipt upon departure. Surprising.
As others have noted the rates are relatively high; but when you are one of only few places to stay in the immediate area, you pay for the location. In all, it was worth the expense and we’d certainly stay again.

I stayed at this hotel twice. First time was a 4-​star experience the second a 2-​star.
The first time the room was great and everything seemed new. The second time however the room had a moldy smell and things looked worn out. The pool was also out of service and they worked out a deal with the YMCA but we didn’t bother since it was so out of the way.
The staff at the front desk just *always* seems overwhelmed. The breakfast buffet is excellent. Amazing and delicious fresh fruit really gets your day started right.

Great hotel to stay at if in this area. No complaints at all, they got me checked in way early, had a great breakfast spread with tons of fresh fruit, and the whole place is very clean and seems newly renovated. I am picky with my hotels too!

We stayed at 2 hotels in this area and this one far exceeded the other. The staff was super friendly. We got asked about our stay about 4 times. It seems like it has been newly renovated. The rooms have really high ceilings and enormous walk in showers. They have a gorgeous common area patio with a grill! Their indoor pool is really cute and handicap accessible. We didn’t swim but we enjoyed the incredibly comfortable couches around the pool. The breakfast was out of this world. It had something for everyone and SO MUCH FOOD. Mostly, I can’t stress enough, how clean this place was. Spotless, everywhere!!! I loved this place and we wished we had stayed their all 3 night we were in town.

Rooms were super clean, staff was super nice, & it was very easy to get to! So happy we stayed here instead of in Austin! The free breakfast was great as well. Lee would stay again & will if we are in the area! Also, I signed up for their reward program & it was a lot easier than I though to earn a free night. I used my AAA card for a discount on the room.

This place is great! Staying here on and off for business.
Staff is great, breakfast was far from inspiring but still darn good for free. Biscuits and gravy were really good, especially when I ate them in my room sipping an orange juice. This place gets the best rating from me.

This is a great little motel that is very clean and well maintained. The staff is so helpful and congenial. They go that extra mile, making sure we had a wonderful time. And we did.

Very nice hotel. Stayed for 1 night (about $ 200pnight, so a little expensive, but I believe it is because F1 was in area). Newer hotel, everything was clean and comfy. This hotel does take the win in best, and most elaborate complimentary breakfast spreads however! They had everything (donuts, cinnamon rolls, eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, waffles, lots of fresh fruit, cereal, hard boiled eggs, etc). Only con, is there is only 1 elevator for the 3story hotel, so we would have to wait a bit… other than that, Would stay here again if the rate was more appropriate.

Friends and family stayed here for one of our daughters wedding. The hotel was nice and close and everyone went out of their way to do everything they could to help us.
Rafael, the chef, is outstanding! He is such an asset to the hotel! Jerry at the front desk goes above and beyond to help and Lucas, that works the night shift is awesome!!!

This place is beautiful, the staff is super nice and professional and the breakfast was far more than i expected! stay here and be worry-​free.

We came for a wedding in the hills and stayed 1 night here. Mom and I shared a dbl. Queen which I didn’t want to get out of once I laid down. Most comfortable bed I’ve slept in in years. The staff was wonderful, very quick and attentive — even brought up a new TV remote within minutes of reporting ours not working. Clean, nice AC, TV was wall mounted and excellent picture. And, oh, did I mention the great bed? I will plan an extra overnight stay at this hotel the next time I’m on my way to Fredericksburg.

We’ve stayed in a lot of hotels at this price range. This was by far one of the better ones. Nice pool area, clean rooms, nice bathrooms, soft pillows, comfy beds, and good work area. The breakfast was really nice compared to others. Tons of fresh fruit! Coffee was good too. Basic things like eggs, sausage, biscuits — however they did have sausage gravy which was nice. I just couldn’t get over the fruit options — strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew, papaya, pineapple and peaches. Plus there was whole fruit you could have too! I’d stay again!

Newer Hotel. Very comfortable bed. Room fan with a «Constant Fan-​On» option (I hate the motel air conditioners that go on and off all night). What really made the stay in this hotel worth it though was the breakfast. Bar none it was the best free Motel breakfast I’ve had anywhere! Every kind of fruit and berries you can imagine. Bicuits and very good gravy, sausage, bacon, eggs, omelets, cinnamon rolls, other pastries… Awesome breakfast!

Incredibly disappointing. All around horrible experience.
I am finally getting around to reviewing vendors, etc. that we engaged for our wedding. Normally, I do not write reviews but, I wanted to share our experiences with other couples in the midst of wedding planning in the hopes of being some help.
Our experience with the Sleep Inn in Dripping Springs was incredibly disappointing and all around horrible. We booked four rooms at the Sleep Inn to accommodate three people per room (though the rooms accommodate 4 per room) purely to allow the 12 members of my wedding party to change between ceremonies that day. The total amount of time we expected to be in the room was about an hour at most. When my family arrived at the hotel to change on the day of my wedding, the manager/​owner («Owner»), refused to allow my family to check in for a significant amount of time, demanding a rooming list before they checked in. My family offered to identify the names of the people who were going to be in each room so that the Owner could put it on the registration card, but he refused to accept this and insisted that they produce a rooming list. I do not know how this Owner expected my family to produce a rooming list at the last minute at the time of check in on my wedding day, but he was insistent. My family found his tone to be very condescending and insulting.
As a result of this delay, my parents, sister, and a few other of the most important people in my life missed an important ceremony. What saddened me the most, was the fact that my family, who have a pretty tough skin, felt that the behavior they experienced from the Owner was a reaction to our ethnic and cultural background. I felt horrible that my family had such an experience, especially on such an important day. The treatment received from the Owner was also incredibly embarrassing for my family. On top of all of this, when I called Choice Hotels corporate to notify them of our experience after the wedding was over, I was treated with the same disregard. I have traveled quite a bit for work and leisure and we have never experienced such treatment before. If I could give this business a negative rating, I absolutely would.

It’s a nice hotel, the breakfast has fresh fruit but everything is gross. I have stayed a total of 3 weeks here and my complaints are;
No ink for the printer– none the entire 3 weeks. Have you ever had to go to the print shop with 3 small children?
They called my room EVERYDAY at 1030 to remind me check out is at 12. Woke up my sleeping baby and can tell time, thank you.
The cleaning people knock on your door 3 times from 10 – 12 even of you have a do not disturb sign on it.
They didn’t apply ANY of our stays to their point program.
Pool is COLD! It’s indoor and not heated. Soooo cold!
Ok for the money, I’ve stayed in worse but it’s not everything they say it will be.

Nice, clean hotel with friendly staff. The breakfast offering far exceeded my expectations! I spend 40 – 50 nights in hotels per year & know good value when I see it. I definitely recommend The Sleep Inn & Suites in Dripping Springs, TX.

This place is nice. Everything was new, clean, and modern. However, even though they have HD TVs in each room, they do not seem to have an HD signal. That’s a huge pet peeve of mine.
What I really enjoyed was the spectacular breakfast. They had all kinds of fresh fruit laid out for free – including peeled kiwi, raspberries, blueberries, watermelon, cantaloupe, and honeydew.
