History

Established in 1933.

William Pyle and John Innis were mechanics who worked for Buick dealerships in Chester, PA. During the Great Depression, Buick had to close many of these dealerships, which ultimately resulted in the previously mentioned men to open up their own garage in 1933, aptly entitled «Pyle and Innis.» Their first endeavor into the automotive business entailed a one-​car garage at the corner of Garrett Road and Shadeland Avenue in Drexel Hill, PA. After six years of business, it became evident, and necessary, that the duo would have to expand, so they bought ten-​bay building, which is where the business functions today.
